Fog Bank coming in 9/20/09..Aptos, Ca.     I am a native Californian...born in San Francisco and moved eventually to the redwood forest within 10 miles to the Pacific Ocean in Northern California in Santa Cruz. We have so much to do in California and are blessed...there is something for everyone. I love sunbathing, reading and avid golfer and self employed working out of my home..reason I can take time to do the posts in my off time. I am interested in all type of people, their beliefs, origins...open minded and animal lover. I have two cats that are outside during the day on my land and inside at night. 9/2009 have taken on an abandoned short hair black cat with the most amazing blue eyes...he's probably just months but won't let me touch him yet...I fixed up a protected area in the gazebo for him... We do have mountain creatures (nocturnal) ..the bandits (raccoons), opossum, deer. I know others have skunk but for some reason not on my property. There are mountain lyons at the ridge-top locations and coyotes...but I've never seen them..I am closer to more the mountain residential neighborhood by a large lake and recreation area...neighborhood dog is a daily visitor for her treats that I buy just for her..... As to adventure, I have parachuted on a static line on a bet...formerly a certified scuba diver, had the opportunity to travel extensively to Tahiti and it's outlying Islands, American Samoa, a good portion of Mexico, most of the Hawaiian Islands except Molokai and Lanai...and my family (I'm the oldest daughter of 8 kids) is spread out in the States so back and forth from each coast...so that's it for now!
