Elimination Notes:
Michelle: Michelle was annoying her tribe-mates with her inability to adapt to Bolivia and her laziness. She tried to eliminate Jim because he was the "weakest" (according to her), but she was unsuccessful and was first voted out 9-1.
Christy: Christy had a trouble communicated with her tribe-mates other than Sierra putting her in a bad position. The others saw her as a stronger competitor than Sierra, but her inability to thrive in their tribe got her voted out second 8-2.
"Chicken": Chicken was seen as one of the weakest members of the tribe, as well as his only ally Tina. He tried to convince the guys that the alliance of Carolina, Jessica, and Marisa was too strong and how Jessica should be voted out, but they didn't listen and voted him out third 7-2.
Tina: Tina was the outcast of the Losers tribe. Because she wasn't the weakest member (which was Jim), she was able to put the idea in the guys alliances heads to eliminate the weakest member Jim instead of her. But, like they did with Chicken, they stayed loyal to the woman and Jim and voted out Tina 7-1.
Jean-Robert: Jean-Robert cut and eventually infected his finger in episode three. It got worse and worse, and by episode five, it was too dangerous to stay in the game so he was medically removed.
Bob: Bob and Sierra were targeted at the Quentira tribe for being the weakest members of the tribe. Sierra surprisingly did very well in that challenge and earned her spot in the tribe, so Bob was voted out 7-1.
Jonathan: The Quentira tribe lost so much morale after losing three consecutive challenges that they knew that they need strength, but they also need to have people who are pleasant to be around. Laura and Jessica were very annoyed with Jonathan's laziness and really wanted him to go. Jonathan wanted to turn the tables and vote out Jessica instead of Sierra. Brook was voting with Jonathan too putting Richard and Sierra in control. They decided to go with morale over physical strength and voted out Jonathan 4-2.
Sierra: The Quentira tribe was dwindling down in numbers and decided that strength is most important. Sierra and Jessica were seen as the weakest members. But when Jessica was kidnapped, Sierra tried to say that Brook should go because he was an outcast. But the tribe really wanted to win challenges and voted out Sierra 4-1.
Richard: Brook knew she was on the chopping block with the Quentira's and had a feeling that the only chance he had was to convince the girls to get rid of Richard instead of him. He spoke to Jessica mainly and said that maybe if more Losers make it to the merge than Legends, they can make an alliance. Jessica persuaded Laura to go through with it and voted out Richard 3-1.
Ozzy: The Terraos tribe finally went to their first tribal council. The rivalry of Ozzy and Parvati was about to end. Carolina and Marisa spoke about if they should vote Parvati or Ozzy, they couldn't agree so they decided with Sekou and Jim. Sekou and Jim liked Parvati a lot better than Ozzy and felt Ozzy was physically threatening so they voted him out 6-2.
Brook: The new Quentaos tribe was originally divided by tribal lines. They originally wanted to get rid of Laura for being physically threatening but she won immunity making them want to target Brook. But Jessica spoke to Carolina, Jim, and Marisa about switching alliances and going back to their old friends and to be loyal. They thought about it but they thought both ways somebody will be mad at them so they went with the ones they liked better and voted out Brook 7-3.
Laura: The Terraos alliance was too strong to overcome. Though Laura and Jessica tried to convince Carolina, Jim, and Marisa again, it was unsuccessful voting out the stronger Laura 7-2 making her Juror #1.
Jessica: Jessica was the last remaining new Quentira in the tribe. Carolina actually promised Jessica she wouldn't vote for her. But Rafe heard that loosing all trust with Caroina. he told the men and Elisabeth and Parvati to vote out Carolina because they couldn't trust her.She wanted specifically Carolina to get the other girls to vote out Rafe with her. Carolina did ask the girls, but they declined making Jessica a definite boot. But because Carolina could not vote for Jessica, she voted for Rafe with her because he was targeting her. Nobody else voted for Carolina voting out Jessica 5-2-1 making her the 2nd jury member.
Rafe: Rafe was an outcast in the tribe due to him voting for Carolina, and her turning people against him. But Rafe wasn't going down without a fight. He said that she was a threat physically and strategically and that she should go earlier. But Parvati and Elisabeth said no because he voted against her in Ozzy's vote. But he tried to convince Jim, Marisa, and Sekou. Marisa was considering it because Carolina confronted her about taking Jim on the reward, but she ultimately decided to stay loyal and voted out Rafe 6-1.
Episode Summaries:Episode One: - Reward/Immunity Challenge: The tribes are to assemble four puzzle wheels, attach them to a cart, and push the cart through a series of wooden fences. Upon reaching a sandpit with the cart, they then must dig up a set of planks to make a bridge. The tribes then push the cart over the bridge to a turnstile. The wheels are then removed and the pieces reassembled to complete the turnstile. The turnstile raises a fire wok on a pulley that lights the top of a platform.
The game started with the Legends and Losers being rode in by a boat to their separate islands without anybody knowing who they were versing. At the Losers camp, they all celebrated their opportunity to be back in this game. They were thinking about who they were playing, they thought there was a chance that they were playing against first boots, but that would mean that Tina, "Sugar" and "Jonny Fairplay" would be invited back. They also though there's a chance to play against all-stars, which is what they're doing, or that they're versing fans. At the Legends camp, they pretty did the same thing, celebrated their camp and thought about who they're against. They thought it was Fans vs. Favorites 2.0 and that favorites are back. Both tribes decided to wait until they got direction and started to work on camp. Surprisingly, the Losers were pretty successful with their shelter and had a good start. Richard decided to work on the fire at the Legends camp, and actually made a stick fire which really boosted team morale. They also got a pretty good shelter. They didn't get direction until the next morning where they were told to go to Challenge Beach where they'd see who they're versing, and would have their first immunity challenge. Jeff first brought in the All-Stars and told them who they think they're playing against. Ozzy stated how they assumed it was Fans vs. Favorites again. Jeff said, nope, and then told the "Losers" to come in. He first introduced Brook, who was from the earliest season of the "Losers". Then Jonathan, Jim, Tina, Sekou, Jessica, "Chicken", Michelle, Carolina, and then last, Marisa. Both tribes were shocked to see who they were playing against. Jeff told them to get to the challenge. In the challenge, it was pretty neck and neck, but it was the Legends who defeated the Losers sending them to their first tribal council, making one of them the first person voted out twice. The Legends egotistically celebrated and said how this game will be very easy. The Losers went to camp at an ultimate low and weren't sure how the first vote should go. Michelle immediately targeted Jim because he was the oldest, so in her eyes, in effect, the weakest. But Jim was well liked around the camp and pulled his weight in both camp and the challenge. He made a good friendship with Marisa, who he wanted to try to manipulate the vote so Michelle would go instead of him. She first spoke to the woman, Carolina, Jessica, and Tina about it. And then they told the other men about it making it a huge decision that would have to be made with everybody in it, excluding Jim and Michelle, and including Marisa. They all spoke about it in the shelter and made their decision. At tribal council, they wanted to keep morale high and voted off the annoying and lazy Michelle 9-1.
Episode Two: - Reward/Immunity Challenge: In a walled off arena, three members of each tribe would battle for control of three balls. Once a castaway gets control of a ball, they would pass the ball to three other tribe members standing on a platform who would attempt to throw the ball through the opposing tribe's basket at the other end of the arena. One point would be scored when a ball is made in the basket. After every point, the tribes would change who was in the arena and on the platform. The first tribe to score three points would win.
That night, on the walk back from tribal council, the Losers felt like they were unified and that this vote may be the easiest one they will make all season. When they got to camp, Jim spoke to Marisa about how long she'll try to save him and she said she'll try her best and that her and her allies, Carolina and Jessica, are gonna help him as well. Jim slept easily that night but Marisa felt a lot of pressure building up about keeping Jim, and Carolina and Jessica. The next morning, at the Legends camp, Sierra tried to work with Christy and tried to help her as much as she could around camp so that she'd feel in the loop and she was surprised about how well Christy can actually communicate. But the rest of the tribe wasn't very sure of that. Ozzy and Laura went to go get Papayas and were speaking about how Christy isn't really socially cutting it with them and said how it's gonna be very hard to use her around camp, and with communication challenges. They both considered her dead weight, and they also considered each other the strongest members of the tribe. Back at Losers, Brook and Jonathan had a similar conversation calling themselves the strongest in challenges and calling "Chicken" the weakest. They bashed him and Tina about their weaknesses behind their back and formed an alliance. Coincidentally, "Chicken" formed an alliance with Tina about being the "older" people in the tribe and how they should stick together. Like the alliance of Marisa and Jim, and Carolina, Jessica, and Marisa, it was well-known throughout the camp. Although Brook and Jonathan's alliance wasn't known. Sekou didn't have a close ally but was popular among them all. He wasn't lazy this time around and really helped out in challenges and camp. On Day 5, they had their second immunity challenge, as well as reward. The reward was blankets and other comfort items. The challenge was very physical and very tiring and quickly grew to be a large nuisance. Losers got the first two wins because Carolina was very aggressive and also a great shooter. She was seen to have proven herself challenge-wise. But then Ozzy used some of his physical ability to get one point, and then surprisingly, Elisabeth threw it to Christy who got the next. Christy was really on in the final challenge and tackled Carolina who was about to throw it to one of her tribe-mates. Christy threw it to Rafe who missed it putting it into Jessica, who was across the rink's arms who attempted to throw it in and was successful winning her tribe their first immunity. At the Losers camp, Carolina was praised for her physical dominance on the previous challenge. She was flattered and felt her importance in the tribe was appreciated. At the Legends camp, the alliance between Christy and Sierra saw themselves on the outs when Parvati, Elisabeth, and Jean-Robert's alliance merged with Bob, Laura, Ozzy, Rafe, and Richards alliance forming a solid 8. They were originally going to vote out Christy for her lack of communication, but then Jean-Robert thought up the idea that though Christy may not be very social with the tribe, she does very well physically, especially compared to Sierra who is physically useless. They spoke it over and eventually at tribal council, they decided to go with camp convenience and voted out Christy 8-2.
Episode Three:
- Reward Challenge: Each Tribe member will face head to head on a slippery course to receive a number ball. Once the tribe member is on the course they must get the ball and throw it into a basket. First tribe to 6 wins reward.
- Immunity Challenge: Each tribe member will face head to head in a food eating challenge. The food will be chosen by a wheel like in the Australian Outback. And the order is also randomized. The tribe who has the most members who ate the food the fastest wins immunity.
At the walk back to the Legend's camp, Sierra felt relieved but she also felt at a huge disadvantage and that it will be much harder for her to survive another tribal council than it would be for the rest of the tribe. Ozzy and Laura still didn't no if whether or not it was the best decision to keep Sierra, they were really hoping that Sierra would get the boot, and though the pleaded, the rest of the alliance didn't think it was a good idea. Sierra realized how Laura and Ozzy did somewhat separate themselves from the alliance putting a target on their back as well. At the Losers camp, their morale was really boosted after winning that challenge, but that brought in the pressure of winning the next few challenges too. They saw that challenge win of something that will show them that they're really competing in this game and that they have the same chances as the Legends. But they may lose their credibility in saying that if they only win that single challenge. At their camp, the tribe started to split into three different alliances, the younger men, Brook, Jonathan, and Sekou, the younger woman + Jim, Carolina, Jessica, Jim, and Marisa, and the older people alliance including only "Chicken" and Tina. They got tree-mail for their first reward challenge. In the challenge, the tribe members must slide down a slippery course and receive a numbered ball corresponding to a pre-determined number. The first tribe to make it to six wins reward. First match-up was Laura and Sekou going for number 7. Laura made it to the mat first and she also was the first to get it in giving the Legends a point. Next match-up was Parvati and Carolina. They were going for number 11. Carolina made it to the mat first but it was Parvati who got the ball in first giving the Legends their second point. Next match-up was Ozzy and Jonathan, going for number 4. It was Ozzy who got to the mat first and got it in first giving the Legends their third point. Next match-up was Rafe and Jim, going for number 1. It was Rafe who made it to the mat first, but it was surprisingly Jim who got the shot in first winning the Losers their first point. *Current score 3-1 Legends*. Next match-up was Jean-Robert and Brook. They were going for number 10. It was Brook who made it to the mat first, and he also got it in first giving the Losers their second point. Jean-Robert injured his finger while running and he cut it up pretty bad. Next match-up was Elisabeth and Jessica, going for number 3. It was Jessica who made it to the mat first, but it was Elisabeth who made the shot first giving the Legends their fourth point. Next match-up was Richard and "Chicken", going for number 5. It was Richard who made it to the mat first and Richard who got it in first, giving the Legends their fifth point. *Current score 5-2 Legends*.The next match-up was Sierra vs. Tina, going for number 9. It was Sierra who made it to the mat first, but Tina who got the point in winning Losers their third point. *Current Score 5-3 Legends*. The next match-up was once again, Sekou and Laura, going for number 6. Next was Marisa and Bob going for number 8. It was Bob who won winning the Legends reward, which is a feast in Bolivia. At the Legend's reward, they really enjoyed the feast. Sierra started to warm up to her tribe again and they started to be friends with a few members which boosted her position, but didn't exactly get her a spot in an alliance at all. But they all had a good time and it gave them the energy to compete the next day. At the Losers camp, they decided not to make one lose of a challenge take them down. They did okay and they knew they could still win immunity. They had high hopes and were really determined to win. At the immunity challenge, it was a food eating challenge! They had to eat Bolivian grubs. The tribe to get 5 points by eating the food the fastest wins immunity and saving them from tribal council. The first match-up was Parvati and Jim. It was Parvati who ate the food first giving the Legends their first point. The next match-up was Carolina and Sierra. It was Carolina who beat Sierra giving the Losers their first point. Next it was Sekou and Elisabeth. It was Elisabeth who surprisingly ate the food first giving the Legends their second point. Then it was "Chicken" and Ozzy. It was actually "Chicken" who ate the food first winning the Losers their second point. Then it was Tina and Laura. Laura ate the food first winning the Legends their third point. Then it was Jessica and Jean-Robert. Surprisingly it was Jessica who defeated Jean-Robert winning the Losers their third point. Then it was Marisa and Rafe. It was Marisa who won winning the Losers their fourth point, making them only one point away from immunity. Next was Bob and Brook. It was actually Bob who won this match-up winning Legends their fourth point. The final match-up was Richard and Jonathan. It was Richard who won winning the Legends immunity sending Losers to their second tribal council. At the Losers camp, the split alliances were going to target the older people alliance (not including Jim) and would vote out "Chicken" for his weakness and annoyingness. But "Chicken" and Tina tried to speak to the men about getting out the female alliance now so they won't get control later because they knew that Marisa was a power player, and how Carolina and Jessica may be one too. Instead of targeting Jim, they said to target Jessica because Jessica's weaker but also can be a strategical threat. The men thought about, but at tribal, the stayed with the woman and voted off "Chicken" 7-2.
Episode Four:
- Reward Challenge: Three castaways from each tribe would play a game similar to bocce. A flag would be placed in the center of a circle. The castaways would take turns tossing three balls each at the flag. The tribe who throws a ball closest to the flag would win.
- Immunity Challenge: One man and one woman from each tribe would hold on to a rope that would suspend a net. The 5 castaways from the other tribe would attempt to toss coconuts into the net which would weigh it down. The castaway who held on to the rope the longest without letting the net touch the ground would win for their tribe.
On the walk back from tribal council, the tribe was very happy with how the vote went like they were with Michelle because, pretty much nobody liked Michelle, and nobody but Tina liked "Chicken". Tina thought felt really alone at the camp and knew it would be a large obstacle to survive another tribal council. The next morning, Jessica woke up surrounded by crabs. She wasn't sleeping in the shelter that night because of the heat. She actually slept on the beach with the water. So screamed originally, but she was too far away to be heard. So instead she got up and used her sheet to trap a lot of crabs. She came back to camp surprising them all. They were all ecstatic to get more food in their tribe, and that really boosted their morale and their energy. They thought that would really help them win the reward challenge. At the Legends camp, Sierra kept trying to plot against others so that she can finally get a place in the tribe where she can feel safer at tribal council. She finally decided who they may vote out over her. She knew how Bob didn't exactly connect to anybody like he did in Gabon. He really didn't have a really good friend that would keep him around. She actually was starting to weasel her way into alliances and if she has a few more days of immunity, can weasel herself into a strong enough alliance to keep her around. Ozzy and Laura were both really satisfied with their tribes challenge performance, because according to them, challenges were the most important. They actually noticed how Bob was getting weaker and weaker in the challenges, perhaps weaker than Sierra. The years seemed to really damage his physical ability because he was so much stronger in Gabon. They got tree-mail to send three of their members out to a certain spot on the map. The Legends tribe decided to send Laura, Bob, and Jean-Robert. Laura was almost sure it was gonna be like the bocce ball challenge she experienced in her season. Bob and Jean-Robert said that they'll do great in a challenge like that. The Losers sent Brook, Marisa, and Sekou because they thought it was a challenge two and decided to send their strongest two guys and strongest female. Laura was right, and it was the exact same challenge, except this time Jeff was there to host it. The Legends tribe did terrible in that challenge with Bob getting the closest which was three feet away. But on the other hand, the Losers camp dominated in that challenge. Marisa and Brook did really well, and got very close. But the most insane throw was made by Sekou. That throw was touching the pole they had to get close to. They actually won the exact same award that the Galu tribe did, chickens! Chickens just added to the food that they got from Jessica and officially had a surplus of food. They found it ironic how when they got rid of "Chicken", more chickens came in after him. At the Legends camp, they were disappointed to have lost, but they won so much they really didn't care as much as the Losers would've because they were really not happy with looking as though they weren't as good as the other tribe. Jean-Roberts finger was getting worse and it looked infected, but he continued on with it. At the immunity challenge, two members (one man and one woman) had to hold up a net that the other tribe will throw coconuts in. The first tribe to drop their net loses immunity for their tribe. For the Legends, it was Laura and Richard who decided to hold up the net. And the rest (excluding Rafe and Sierra who sat out) all shot into the other tribes net. For the Losers, it was Marisa and Sekou holding up the next and the rest (excluding Jim who was sitting out) were shooting them into the other tribes net. The tribes did pretty well and nobody did very bad and were seen to be bad in the challenge, but nobody was seen as a hero either. It was Elisabeth who was the last shot that made Marisa and Sekou give out losing this tribe immunity sending themselves to tribal council. At the Losers camp, they were really disappointed about how they'd have two less people than the other tribe, and how it may never stop. But the morale got higher as they started to eat and to thrive. The alliance between Jim and the woman were set on voting off Tina for being an outcast, and thought everybody else was on board with that too. But Tina said that Jim really is definitely the weakest and how the men should realize that. The men knew she was right but still weren't sure if they should or should not continue with the other alliance. They decided to go with the woman and Jim and unanimously voted out Tina 7-1.
Episode Five: - Immunity Challenge: Four members from each tribe would alternate at throwing rocks at hanging tiles. When the tile is broken, it would drop a bundle of puzzle pieces. Three tribe members and a direction caller would assemble a color-coded puzzle from the pieces.
On the way back from tribal council, the tribe felt unified like they did with Michelle. But the only problem with this vote was that they all missed Tina. Though they all wanted Tina gone, they all got along with her and she was a huge help in camp. The next morning, Carolina woke up somewhat upset about how her tribes numbers are dwindling down. She was disappointed about how there's only seven remaining members. But who she really missed was Tina. She told Marisa that if Tina had approached her about getting out one of the guys, she would've accepted. But Marisa got Carolina back into her senses and they spoke about the next to go. They knew they had the numbers so they wanted Jonathan to go next because he was such an annoyance. Jonathan really was all about himself and really didn't care about others. On the Legends camp, people really started to get on each others nerves. Ozzy started to really annoy Parvati, and vise-versa. Ozzy, after Christy left was thinking of getting out Parvati instead of Sierra because he was still pretty bitter about her backstabbing him in Micronesia. Parvati then wanted to get back of him for doing that. Laura was obviously with Ozzy because they were allies, and Parvati had Elisabeth and Jean-Robert. Bob was originally with Ozzy, but Ozzy has been cutting him off because of his challenge performance. But Richard and Rafe were more towards Ozzy. Jean-Roberts finger was getting worse and worse. On day 13, hey got tree-mail talking about something that originated in Survivor: Africa, and is a part of Survivor to this day. The Losers knew it meant a swap, but the Legends actually had no idea. Jeff told them at the reward challenge that they were going to switch tribes. They were going to stand on disks and under them are their tribes buffs. They first started with the Losers tribe, Sekou was on Terraos, Marisa was also on Terraos, and so was Carolina, Jonathan was on Quentira, and so was Jessica, Jim was on Terraos, and Brook was on Quentira. On the Legends, Bob was on Quentira, Parvati was on Terraos, Ozzy was also on Terraos, Richard and Sierra were on Quentira, and Rafe was on Terraos, and Laura was on Quentira, and Elisabeth was on Terraos. The new Quentira tribe consisted of Bob, Brook, Jean-Robert, Jessica, Jonathan, Laura, Richard, and Sierra. The new Terraos tribe consisted of Carolina, Elisabeth, Jim, Marisa, Ozzy, Parvati, Rafe, and Sekou. Jeff told Jean-Robert to stay with him as Medical comes in to look at his finger. He asked if he can get Laura to stay with him, and Jeff said she could. the Medical said that Jean-Robert's finger will get worse and worse out there and suggested he leave the game. Jean-Robert couldn't risk it and was pulled out of the game. Laura went back to the Quentira tribe and told all of them what happened. They hated that within an hour of being in a new tribe, one member was already down. Back on the Terraos tribe, Parvati and Ozzy were again separated. Ozzy had Rafe with him, and Parvati had Elisabeth. They were going to right away try to convince the members of the Losers to choose right now, but they decided to wait until they had to go to tribal council. They got tree-mail to go to an immunity challenge. The Terraos tribe was shocked to see Jean-Robert pulled from the game, especially the original Terraos' on that tribe. At the challenge, the Terraos tribe had a huge lead over the Quentira tribe and got to the puzzle a very long time before the others did. But Sierra was the caller of the puzzle and she did very well and got them back evenly with the other tribe. She made it neck-and-neck. But it was eventually Terraos who won immunity sending Quentira to tribal council making them be down two members compared to Terraos. At the Quentira tribe, Bob and Sierra saw themselves on the outs for being considered the weakest. The rest of the members spoke about how Bob was great physically in Gabon, and is terrible now, but how Sierra was bad physically in Tocantins, but did wonderful in the last challenge. They decided that Sierra earned her spot in the tribe and voted out Bob unanimously 7-1.
Episode Six: - Reward Challenge: Each tribe was given two boats and a fisherman's grappling hook. They must try to sink both of the opposite tribe's boats. The hooks could be used to remove plugs that covered holes along the sides of each boat. The last tribe still floating wins reward.
- Immunity Challenge: Four members of each tribe, sequentially, must use a machete to chop through wooden beams and ropes to release a set of puzzle disks. Once all four sets of puzzle disks are collected for the tribe, two other members must assemble the disks onto a large post. Once all disks are on the post, the two puzzle solves must then drag it across the finish line to win.
On the way back from tribal council, Sierra was really happy to continue on in the game. She knew she proved she was a fighter and that she could be an underdog, and still pull of a win, or at least a jury. She knew to just kinda stay out of everybody's way. She knew that becoming a power-player would enlarge the target on her back. The next morning, Laura and Jessica were really off at Jonathan because of his lazy behavior in the house. Laura and Jessica actually started to make a friendship from that though they're two completely different people. They snuck off to go "get some food" when they gossiped about Jonathan behind his back. They kept looking over at his sprawled out in the shelter just lying down watching the other 5 tribemates working and actually helping. At the Terraos tribe, Ozzy and Parvati's rivalry tensioned the whole camp. Though they succeeded in the past challenge, but they didn't think they had the teamwork to succeed in the future ones. Ozzy and Parvati were just not making the game as fun as it could be. It wasn't even before when there were other alliances and rivalries like at the Legends camp. Carolina and Parvati somewhat bonded because they were the ones that would always go out to the jungle to look for fruit everyday. Those 30 minute trips really got them to be good friends. Parvati felt that those trips could really give her more numbers at camp. Carolina felt that if they were to go to tribal council, she'd lean more to voting for Ozzy over Parvati. But the only problem was that Ozzy and Marisa also went out to fish together pretty much every day. That made them bond kinda splitting up the alliance of those two girls. And Marisa said that she'd probably vote Parvati over Ozzy. Carolina knew about that but she thought that Elisabeth would make friends with both of them and make Marisa be with her. Carolina actually told Elisabeth to try to lure Elisabeth away from Ozzy and Rafe by aligning with her. Jim and Sekou were another story. They were both indifferent about Ozzy and Parvati. At the immunity challenge, Elisabeth and Carolina sat out of the reward for Terraos, but Quentira needed all of their members for that challenge. Oddly, both tribes lost one of their two boats at the exact same time. But surprisingly it was Terraos who had their victory again over Quentira winning them a trip to go near a Bolivian waterfall that is a nice way to refresh. The Terraos's really needed that because their tribe was really on the rocks. Though their tribe was actually pretty physical and had a lot more food and things compared to the others, their teamwork was at an all-time low, and morale wasn't much higher. But that reward did kinda drop some tension and did kinda make them more of a family. At the Quentira tribe, their morale got lower and lower. Jonathan really didn't help anything either. He did exactly what he did the other times, he just relaxed around. Surprisingly, Jessica was the one to say something. The next morning when he was again lying in the shelter when everybody else was working, she asked him what he did for the tribe today. He pretty much just blew her off. She told him what everybody else d id for the tribe and make him feel foolish. Then she mouthed-off to him putting them in a huge fight. That finally made some true drama at that camp kinda setting the next tribal council. At the immunity challenge, nobody did very well in the challenge, but nobody did bad either. And again, Terraos won their third consecutive challenge winning themselves immunity sending Quentira to eliminate their third member. At the Terraos camp, Ozzy and Parvati were actually somewhat frustrated that they'll have to live together again for a few more days. At Quentira, Sierra was happy to see that the target was slowly disappearing from her back with the new rivalry between Jessica and Jonathan. Jessica and Laura were one alliance, and Jonathan and Brook were the other. That put the two other Legends on that tribe to choose between those alliances. Everybody liked Jessica a whole lot better than Jonathan, but they knew Jonathan was one of the strongest people and that they needed them for challenges. Sierra didn't want to be the weakest member of the tribe by a long shot so her and Richard voted off Jonathan 4-2.
Episode Seven: - Reward Challenge: Each tribe must retrieve sixteen puzzle pieces; eight buried in the sand and eight hidden out at sea. The tribes must collect all sixteen pieces in order to solve a puzzle. First tribe to solve their giant puzzle wins reward.
- Immunity Challenge: Each castaway must cross a human checkerboard over water. When a castaway is face-to-face with an opposing tribe member, a hand-to-hand clash would occur. Whichever castaway loses balance first will have to start over. First tribe to get all of their members across wins immunity. In addition, the winning tribe will have the right to kidnap a member of the opposing tribe.
On the way back from tribal council, Brook was really surprised by the vote. He thought that strength would be a priority in the tribe. But Laura said that Jonathan was actually pulling them down. Laura argued about how Jonathan just annoyed the whole tribe and was surprised about how nobody at the Losers picked that up. Jessica actually said he wasn't lazy until they switched the tribes because his ego got larger and larger and felt safer and safer. That night Brook felt really, really vulnerable because he was the only one who didn't vote for Jonathan at that tribal council. They also weren't very excited that they were brought down to only five members compared to the other tribes 8. They were really hoping that the next 3 immunities will go in their favor. At the Terraos camp, the tension that filled up the camp before the reward was done and the tribe was finally having fun. They were hoping that they'd get some more food at the next reward or maybe a feast somewhere. Tree-Mail said something that the greatest got to do will be done to the winners today. They all wondered about what it could mean. Jeff said they're gonna have to wait until the challenge was done to learn what the reward was. It was Terraos who killed Quentira in this challenge again, but this time, it wasn't even competition, Quentira was out of it in the first 15 minutes. The got to go on a boat and celebrate their reward overnight. The Terraos tribe was ecstatic about their reward and their tension officially dropped and they celebrated their success in challenges and Parvati and Ozzy put their rivalry to rest for now until they'd go to tribal council. On that boat, they got to clean up and wear nice clothes and had a really fancy dinner that night. During they day, they stopped at an island and frolicked in the water and they were able to go parasailing and went on a banana boat. And when they got back on the vote, they were golfing off the side of the boat and that night they slept the nicest they slept in 17 days. At the Quentira camp, morale was at the lowest low. They had no fun whatsoever. They were just walking around, eating, and talking. There was absolutely no excitement going on in the camp. Sierra was really disappointed about how her tribe was so much different than the Legends camp. She used that time to barter for Jessica's boot. The tribe found it annoying but still took her scrambling to heart. She was so bored that she wasn't sure if she wanted to continue being on this tribe with this kind of morale. At the immunity challenge, like the previous immunity challenge, nobody did bad, but nobody did very well either, except for Marisa. Marisa won every single clash she was in and earned Terraos their third consecutive immunity win and fifth consecutive challenge win. They were all very excited about how their tribe had so many members compared to the Quentira tribe, who would be down to four. Jeff said there was another twist, the Terraos tribe would kidnap a member of Quentira. They were going to take Sierra because she was the weakest, but Carolina and Marisa convinced them to kidnap their ally Jessica. Jessica was thrilled and was excited to skip tribal council. At the Quentira tribe was very defeated and was very mad they'd have to vote somebody else out. Sierra was even madder that Jessica isn't there to maybe go before her. She decided to target Brook and call him an outcast because of the whole Jonathan situation. Laura and Richard thought about voting for Brook, but overall decided to get rid of Sierra 3-1.
Episode Eight: - Immunity Challenge: The strongest member of each tribe must suspend the smallest member above the ocean using a rope-and-pulley system. The first person to drop the rope and their suspended tribemate would lose immunity.
On the way back from tribal council, the tribe was completely shocked about how their tribe is down to four members, which if half of what they started with. They felt really empty without Jessica there to celebrate them surviving another tribal council. They got back to camp and just spoke about all 4 of the members that left before them and made a tribute to them by taking a palm frond and throwing it in the fire for each of those 4 members. Also, they made a small tribute with one frond for all the rest of the people voted out, and another one for the 12 remaining. That morning, Richard spoke to Laura about recruiting Jessica into an alliance to vote out Brook if they go to another tribal council in the next two days. At the Terraos tribe, tension started to build up again once Carolina and Marisa got into a fight. Those two allies were going to go fish instead of doing their scheduled activity that they usually do. They were talking about which one they should vote out if it was between Ozzy and Parvati. They argued about it but they did it friendly until Carolina got a little stubborn about it which annoyed Marisa. Marisa, in a confessional questioned her alliance with Carolina and got very, very frustrated. She wasn't sure if she should take Carolina's opinion into consideration or not. She might just do what she want and convince Sekou and Jim to do what she says. Carolina didn't take it that far. She just said she'll be temporarily frustrated with Marisa and then they'll make up within in the first few days. With Sekou and Jim, they noticed the tension between Carolina and Marisa and decided to speak to them. Sekou, who was great friends with Carolina spoke to her about what happened sympathetically, and Jim did the same with his friend Marisa. They spoke about it and calmed them down but Marisa kept saying she was done and wasn't completely accepting Carolina's apology. Rafe felt like he was a playing a good game no matter what happens. He knew he'd be a surviving a lot of tribal councils because he was a doing a great job so far. Elisabeth felt like her game was good too. It was a little under the radar but she still played very strategically and had an ally who would really help her in the long haul and felt that she could do just as good if not better than she did in the Australian Outback. At the challenge, Jessica went back to the Quentira tribe and wasn't surprised to see Sierra gone. Jeff shocked both tribes with the news that both tribes will be voting out one of their members that night. All of the members were disappointed, especially the Quentira's about dwindling down to three compared to seven. In that challenge, they had to pick three of their strongest members to hold up their smallest member. The winner would first go to the other person's tribal council, eat during it, and watch every part, including the vote, and then vote off one of their own members. For Quentira, they really had no choice about it. They had Laura in the first section, Richard in the second, and Brook in the third, and they were holding up Jessica. For Terraos, there was Marisa in the first section, Sekou in the second, and Ozzy in the third, and they were holding up Elisabeth, sitting out the rest of the tribe. They were even until it was just left to Brook and Ozzy. Brook let go first winning Terrrao's their sixth consecutive challenge win, winning them food at tribal council. At the Quentira tribe before tribal council, it was between Brook and Richard. Brook wanted Richard to go because he was a threatening strategical player and could manipulate a lot of people. Richard wanted Brook to go because he was a physical threat and he was an outcast in the tribe. At the Terraos tribe, the two main targets were Ozzy and Parvati. Parvati and Elisabeth wanted Ozzy to go next because he was an annoyance to her and a threat in the merge. And Rafe and Ozzy wanted Parvati to go because she was a huge strategical threat and thought she could win again. Marisa finally stopped arguing with Carolina, and them two and the two other Losers on the tribe decided who would go. At the Quentira tribal council, the Terraos tribe watched and ate as Richard was voted out 3-1. And then soon later the Quentira's voted out their first member Ozzy 6-2.
Episode Nine: - Immunity Challenge: Each tribe member will have to hang upside down with arms and legs wrapped around a pole. They must hang there for as long as they can. Whoever falls off of the pole will be eliminated. The last castaway hanging wins Immunity.
At the walk back from the Quentira tribal council, they were shocked to only see three members at that camp. They kept expecting people to just walk over behind them with their torches instead of just dying down to three. At the Terraos tribe, everybody joyfully walked back to their camp except for Rafe. Rafe was praying for a merge because he felt like a huge outcast in the game. Carolina felt some accomplishment because she got Marisa to vote with her. But Marisa was somewhat angry that her opinion meant nothing to Carolina. The next morning st Quentira, the tribe was very worried about what would happen if they were to merge right now with 4 less people than the other tribe. Jessica was fairly confident that Carolina, Jim, and Marisa would stay true to their original alliance and vote off Sekou and the other Legends on the Terraos tribe. Laura was hoping that Jessica wod be right so that they would be able to have a chance in the game. Also, Brook was a little uncomfertable about his position in the game because he knew that Jessica and Laura were allies. At the Terraos tribe, the Terraos' all said that if they merged at the final 10, that they'd stick together and vote off the Quentira's one by one. But Jim spoke to Marisa about Jessica and what they'd do with her. She said they'll figure it out when they have to. At the reward challenge Jeff announced it wasn't a challenge at all, but it was a merge feast! They were all so excited about being one tribe even though one tribe had several more members than the other. They enjoyed their feast and celebrated their unification and beating 10 other people in the game. The 6 original Terraos' remaining in the game were stunned that there were more Losers in the game than there were Legends. All six of them said that they knew that they were better players than they could've imagined. At the feast they decorated their tribe flag with all of their named and decided to name the tribe Quentaos merging both the tribe names. They were very excited and went back to camp awaiting their first individual immunity challenge. Jessica called over Jim and Marisa to fish and she asked them about what they're doing at the first vote. They said they don't know whos going but they said it definitely won't be her. At the immunity challenge, they had the same challenge they did in Survivor: Panama. The first one out of the challenge was Jim, then Sekou, Jessica, Carolina, Rafe, Elisaneth, then Marisa. It was down to Laura and Brook. It was Laura who held on longer winning herself immunity. Shee was happy to be safe so that she could at least make the jury phase of the game again. The Terraos' tribe said that the next to go should be Brook because he is stronger than Jessica. But Jessica, Brook, and Laura spoke to Carolina, Jim, and Marisa about switching their vote to their alliance because that was their first alliance. They all discussed whether or not Rafe should go instead of Brook before tribal council, but they ultimately decided that it was Brook who should leave and voted him out 7-3, making him the last pre-jury boot.
Episode Ten:- Reward Challenge: The castaways would be split into teams of three and would play a version of shuffleboard. Each castaway would be given two pucks which they would try to slide closest to the target. The team whose puck ends up closest to the target would win.
- Immunity Challenge: With one hand, the castaways would hang on to a rope with several knots tied into it. The rope would be tied to one end of a heavy log. The other end of the log would be connected to a pivot point on a platform that the castaways would stand on. The castaways would start at the knot closest to the end of the log. Every three minutes, they would change hands and move one knot further down the rope. This would increase the angle of the log at the pivot point and increase the weight that the castaways would have to hold. The castaway who held on to the rope the longest would win.
On the walk back from tribal council, Laura and Jessica ran ahead of the group and spoke about their future in the game. They knew that there was a long shot that one of them will make it to the final 4, or 2. They were really hoping that somebody would switch their way. Carolina and Marisa stayed behind the group and spoke about how they felt bad for Jessica and was really upset that they had to drop her as an ally now. They didn't know if they'd ever switch alliances for her, but they really wished that she was in the alliance other than Rafe, who was a real outcast. Rafe on the other hand thought to himself about his position in the game. He had a feeling that he would be the next to go when Jessica and Laura are out of the game. He thought about aligning himself against Carolina and Marisa, but he planned to do it after the Quentira's were gone.
The next morning, Jessica, for the first time since the original Loser's tribe, had a good one-on-one conversation with Carolina about their game. Carolina was pretty straight-forward with her and said she'd love to help her but she really couldn't. Though Jessica was somewhat crushed, she took it respectfully and still had a great conversation with Carolina. Carolina felt very bad because Jessica was the closest ally to her originally, because Marisa had Jim. Meanwhile, Elisabeth and Parvati had a conversation about if they were able to trust Carolina and Marisa or not. They knew not to do anything rash until they knew, but they did really a little off about them since Jessica came into camp. At the reward challenge, the 3 teams were: 1: Elisabeth, Rafe, Sekou; 2: Carolina, Jessica, Marisa; 3; Jim, Laura, Parvati. It was team 1, Elisabeth, Rafe, and Sekou that won reward and got to spend a night on a cruise. They had a lot of fun and felt rejuvenated. They were able to get all cleaned up, eat dinner and dessert, and spend a night in their own separate beds. They really loved it. They were surprised to find out the next day that they'd be doing it again for another day, and come back on day 27. The others found out the next morning in tree-mail and they were extremely jealous. But they enjoyed being down to only 6 members for a few days because they had less to worry about. The next morning, the three came back to a camp that was very welcoming. Laura spoke to Marisa about switching again, but Marisa gave her no straight answer. At the immunity challenge, the people dropped in this order: Jessica, Marisa, Jim, Elisabeth, Carolina, Sekou, and Parvati was the winner of immunity. She was very happy but knew she didn't need it. The Terraos' decided to get out Laura because she was a lot stronger than Jessica, and Carolina and Marisa wanted to keep her as long as possible. Though Jessica tried to convince them otherwise, she was unsuccessful and Laura was voted out 7-2 making her the first jury member.
Episode Eleven:- Reward Challenge: Survivor Auction.
- Immunity Challenge: The castaways must match Quechua numbers with the numbers in English. The first two to match the numbers move on to the final round, where they will be pitted against each other in a test of memory and skill. The castaway that outwits the other wins.
On the walk back from tribal council, Jessica was very disappointed to see her only real ally voted out at the last tribal council. Carolina made Jessica stick to the back of the group when they were leaving and they were talking about the game and how sorry Carolina was that it set them apart. Carolina actually declared that she'll never write Jessica's name down at any tribal council unless for good. Carolina thought nobody heard that but she was wrong. Rafe was the closest one to both of them and heard her say that. He immediately ran up to Sekou to go tell him the news but Sekou didn't believe it. He told Rafe that he probably just misheard it. But Rafe knew he was right. When they finally got back to camp, Rafe ran up to Marisa about it. Marisa actually said she didn't believed him but she did. Carolina would do a lot for a jury vote and was close allies with Jessica. But Marisa took no action about it though, she knew that Carolina would just make a throw-away vote. The next morning, Rafe completely ignored Carolina and tried to make the least amount of conversation possible with her. Carolina noticed the isolation she was getting from Rafe and asked Sekou about it. Sekou said it was something about an alliance between Carolina and Jessica. Carolina immediately declined but actually felt quite vulnerable because he actually was telling the truth. But she didn't want an alliance with Jessica. She just wanted to be Jessica's friend. Carolina confronted Rafe about it and he told her that there was nothing going on. She said that she knew there was something going on. She told him what Sekou told her and he immediately declined saying that it was a complete lie. Carolina got serious with him and he finally said that that's what he heard. She told him he was wrong, but he knew she was lying. But to stop the fight he said maybe he was wrong, but he knew he wasn't. At the reward challenge, it was a Survivor auction! They were all very excited and were able to eat a lot of food and Marisa was able to take a private shower. Sekou bought a secret note that said that he is able to take away a vote that he received at the next tribal council. He kept that a secret to everybody because he knew he wasn't going anywhere. That evening, the members had a ritual about the twelve people that left the game before them. They each collected a coconut for all of the people and cut it open with a machete. There they put a little slip of paper in with their name, their placement, and the tribe(s) they were on. Then they closed it up and threw it in the fire. They started with Michelle, then Christy, "Chicken", Tina, Jean-Robert, Bob, Jonathan, Sierra, Richard, Ozzy, Brook, and ending with Laura. The alliance between Marisa and Jim set off in the canoe and Jim asked Marisa if she had the power to take anyone to end, would it be him. She said she'd bring him to the end over anybody, especially because he was not as jury vote threat. Parvati and Elisabeth were thinking very far into the game. They spoke to Carolina about having a final 3 alliance between the three of them, and dropping Marisa because she's gonna bring Jim over her. Carolina wanted to align with them, but she couldn't backstab Marisa like that. And she did not believe that Marisa wouldn't take her to the finals. At the immunity challenge, it was Sekou who beat everybody else winning himself immunity being the first male to have the immunity necklace. At the camp before tribal, Rafe was trying to eliminate Carolina for being untrustworthy. He spoke to Elisabeth, Jim, Sekou, and Parvati about it and they were thinking about it. Carolina knew she was voting for Rafe, but she didn't think he was targeting her, so she just voted Rafe as a throw away. But because the rest of the people wanted Carolina around, they voted out Jessica 5-2-1 making her the second jury member.
