Episode Summaries:

Episode 1: Sink or Swim
  • Reward/Immunity Challenge: Each tribe hold a rope with weight tied to the end. Every 30 minutes, 10 pounds are added and one tribe member lets go. First tribe to drop the rope loses.
  • Reward: Flint and 50 waterproof matches.
As the tribes hit their beaches, Tagi worked on their shelter, while Pagong talked and hung out. Colleen and Joel formed a close bond. They made an alliance with each other along with Jenna and Greg. That night Tagi slept well under their shelter, but Pagong had no shelter, so no one slept. Ramona had formed a special bond with Gervase that night. The next day, Pagong worked hard on a shelter, and Tagi gathered food. At Tagi, Kelly, Sean, Sonja, and Dirk formed a close bond. They decided to stick together to the end. At Pagong, the tribe slept well that night under their new shelter except for Gervase and Ramona who weren't given any room. They decided to form an alliance. The next day, Both tribes fought valiantly, but Richard, Dirk, and Kelly held on longer than Gervase, Greg, and Joel, and Tagi won immunity. At camp, Colleen, Joel, Greg, and Jenna (The Fearsome Foursome) decided that Gervase should go. Gervase sensed he was in danger, and fought to stay. He went behind Ramona's back, and asked the Fearsome Foursome to vote off Ramona instead. At tribal council, Ramona said that Jenna went out of her way to exclude Ramona and Gervase. When Jeff asked about alliances, B.B. said that Ramona and Gervase were close, and so were Colleen, Greg, Joel, and Jenna. For the vote, Ramona voted for Jenna, Gervase, Gretchen, and B.B. voted for Ramona, and Greg, Colleen, Joel, and Jenna voted for Gervase. Gervase was the first person voted off in a 4-3-1 vote.

Episode 2: You're Going Down With Me
  • Reward Challenge: Each tribe would compete head to head in a log rolling competition, with the whole tribe on the log. Last team with members on the log wins.
  • Reward: Pillows, blankets, and a hammock.
  • Immunity Challenge: Each tribe member climbs up a rope and unties a key at the top. Once they have all 5 keys, the remaining 2 members unlcok locks. When all the locks are unlocked, the tribe flag will raise.
Ramona was upset that her closest ally was voted out. Jenna couldn't help but love the moment. She laughed as she told Ramona that Gervase had betrayed her. The next day at Tagi, Stacey made a close bond with Dirk. He decided to bring her into his alliance. At the reward challenge, Pagong won in a blowout challenge, when Rudy couldn't get to the top. At Pagong, everybody's' spirits were high, until Ramona and Jenna got into an argument. They argued about how Jenna said that Ramona and B.B. weren't as important as the others in winning the challenge, because those 2 had been the only ones to fall off. Colleen, Greg, and Joel questioned if Jenna would be a good person to keep around. The next day, Richard told his tribe that Dirk was too smart to keep in the game. This worried everyone, because they saw that Richard was playing the game in a eay that was very dangerous. At Pagong, Ramona apologized to Jenna, who wouldn't accept it. Colleen, Greg, and Joel decided that Jenna didn't deserve to stay in the game. That meant that Richard and Jenna were on the chopping block. At the immunity challenge the next day, Tagi got their revenge on Pagong and won immunity. At Tagi, Collen, Greg, and Joel told Jenna that she was gone tonight. Jenna said in a confessional, that if she was going down then the alliance was going down with her. She spread rumors around camp about Joel not liking Greg. Greg became furious and disconnected himself from the alliance, which completely destroyed that alliance. Ramona had finally been given hope. At tribal council, Ramona, Joel, Colleen, B.B., and Gretchen voted for Jenna, Jenna voted for Ramona, and Greg voted for Joel. Jenna was the second person voted out in a 5-1-1 vote.


Episode 3: That's Gotta Hurt
  • Reward Challenge: Each tribe puts one person on a balance beam. They will try to push the other person off. First tribe to 5 wins.
  • Reward: Fishing Gear
Ramona was excited that her enemy was voted out, but her excitement was brought down when Colleen figured out what happened. Colleen explained what Jenna had done, and the guys brought the alliance back together. The next day, Colleen, Greg, and Joel decided to bring B.B. into the alliance and vote off Ramona then Gretchen. At Tagi, Rudy picked up the slack that Stacey constantly left behind. The whole tribe became annoyed at Stacey's laziness and decided that she was next to go. at the reward challenge, Kelly injured her leg, when she hit on the beam after Gretchen knocked her off, and Pagong won reward. At camp Kelly had trouble walking, but didn't let her tribe see it She carried out her regular work. At Pagong, Colleen surprised everyone when she caught 3 fish. At Tagi, things didn't go as well. Nobody wanted to gather coconuts. The next day, Kelly's condition got worse, and her tribe could see it. At Pagong, B.B. proved himself a hard worker. At Tagi, the medics looked at Kelly. They found out she had a broken leg. They decided that it wouldn't be a good idea to leave her in the game, and they pulled her from the game. Pagong found a treemail stating that a member of Tagi had been pulled from the game. Everybody suspected that Rudy had been pulled. There was no tribal council and no immunity challenge that night. Richard found his chance to completely flip the game with Kelly's exit. He brought in Stacey, Rudy, and Sue into an alliance to vote out the other 3 of the alliance.


Episode 4: Flip-Flop
  • Reward Challenge: Each tribe must go through an obstacle course while tied together.
  • Reward: A barbecue(steaks, chicken, and vegetables)
  • Immunity Challenge: Every tribe member must eat a beetle, the last person to finish the beetle loses immunity for their tribe.
On day 10, Richard's spirits were high because he was in control now. Sean, Sonja, and Dirk grew very annoyed at Richard's confidence. At the reward challenge, Tagi pulled it together and won reward. Back at camp, they enjoyed the barbecue. At Pagong, the tribe's spirits were still high when Greg brought in a bunh of fish. That night at Tagi, Rudy annoyed Stacey with his grouchiness. At Pagong, Colleen and Joel kept everyone up with their talking and laughing. The next day at Tagi, Sean, Sonja, and Dirk could see that Stacey was annoyed with Rudy. They talked to her about teaming up with them to vote off Rudy. At Pagong, Colleen furthered herself from the tribe by being lazy. Greg and B.B. decided to team up with Ramona and Gretchen to vote off Colleen. That night, Colleen and Joel kept everyone up again. The next day, despite their lack of sleep Pagong won immunity when Rudy couldn't stomach the beetle. Back at Tagi, Stacey was the swing vote between Dirk and Rudy leaving. At tribal council, Richard said that he was in control. For the vote, Richard, Rudy, and Sue voted for Dirk, while Sean, Dirk, Sonja, and Stacey voted for Rudy. Rudy was the third person voted out in a 4-3 vote.


Episode 5: Switcheroo
  • Immunity Challenge: Each tribe must climb up a rope ladder and ring a bell. After every member has rung the bell, every member must dig up bag of puzzle pieces. When all the bags are gathered, a puzzle will be put together. The first tribe to finish the puzzle wins immunity.
Richard was outraged at Stacey flipping to the other side. The next day, it was revealed that the tribes were being switched up. The new Tagi consisted of Ramona, Greg, Gretchen, Sean, Stacey, and Dirk. The new Pagong consisted of Joel, Colleen, B.B., Richard, Sue, and Sonja. It was revealed that there would be no reward challenge that day. Back at Tagi, Ramona and Gretchen immediately bonded with the original Tagi, which left Greg on the outside. At Pagong, Sonja was unsure of where her loyalties lied. She didn't know whether to flip or stay with the original Tagi. The next day, Colleen confronted Sonja about flipping to the original Pagong. At Tagi, Greg tried to bring himself favor in the tribe by doing work. The next day, Pagong won immunity when Ramona couldn't find her puzzle pieces. Back at camp, Greg told the original Tagi that Ramona was the weakest link and needed to go. Gretchen and Ramona said that Greg needed to go. The original Tagi were unsure of what to do. At tribal council, Greg said that Ramona was the reason they were at tribal council. For the vote, Greg voted for Ramona, while Ramona, Gretchen, Sean, Dirk, and Stacey voted for Greg. Greg was the fourth person voted out in a 5-1 vote.

Episode 6: The Big Dog
  • Reward/Immunity Challenge: each tribe member will hang upside down on a bamboo pole. The last person standing wins reward and immunity for their tribe.
  • Reward: Letters from home
There was nothing but harmony at Tagi, but the tribe was split at Pagong. The next day, Richard and Sue, and the group of Colleen, Joel, and B.B. were fighting for Sonja's vote. At Tagi, the group of 5 decided to stay together till the end, but Stacey wasn't sure if she could trust the others. The next day, both tribes were excited for their challenge. Both tribes fought hard, but Tagi won immunity. Back at Tagi, the tribe became even closer when they shared their letters from home. At Pagong, everybody was worried about tribal council the next day. Back at Tagi, Sean surprised everyone when he caught a fish with his fishing pole. At their dinner, the Tagi tribe shared stories about their life. At Pagong things weren't as good, everybody was worrying about Sonja's vote would fall. B.B. made a last second plea to Sonja for her to help him out, because he knew he was in trouble without her around. Sonja had no idea what to do now. At tribal council, Joel said that everything rested on Sonja's vote. For the vote, Joel, Colleen, and Sonja voted for Richard, while Richard and Sue voted for Colleen. Richard was the fifth person voted out in 3-2 vote.


Episode 7: I'm in Control
  • Immunity Challenge: Each person will stand on top of a perch. Last person left wins immunity.
Sue knew she was in trouble with no allies left on her tribe. The next day, Colleen and Dirk decided to live at the Pagong beach. The tribes were now merged. They decided to call themselves Rattana. Sue immediately tried to gain favor in the tribe by telling the Tagi tribe she was with them 100%. The alliance decided to use this to their advantage. Joel put himself on the outside along with Colleen when they spent all their time with each other. The new alliance of 6 decided that Joel should go first because of his strength then Colleen. The next day, Sonja and B.B. formed a close bond. Sean and Dirk made a Final 2 pact, and decided that Sue and Stacey would be the best to take to the Final 4. The next day, everybody was pumped for the challenge. At the challenge, Sonja dropped out first and Joel won immunity when he outlasted Dirk. That sealed Colleen's fate. Colleen wouldn't go down though. She told everybody that Sonja didn't deserve her spot. at tribal council, Colleen said that Sonja wasn't deserving of her spot because Sonja was too weak. Sonja said that being deserving was more than physical strength. For the vote, Sue, Stacey, Dirk, Ramona, Gretchen, and Sean voted for Colleen, Sonja and B.B. voted for Dirk, and Collen and Joel voted for Sonja. Colleen was the sixth person voted out in a 6-2-2 vote.

Episode 8: Turn the Game on Its Head
  • Reward Challenge: Each person will fill out a questionnaire. Everybody will then be asked the question and try to guess what the tribe said. If they got the question correct, they got to chop someone's rope. 3 chops and you were out. Last person standing won reward.
  • Reward: Tribal Feast
  • Immunity Challenge: Everybody will swim out in the water and grab a key. They will then dive down and unlock a locked box. They will untie 3 puzzle bags and carry them back to the beach. Finally, they will put together a puzzle. First to finish the puzzle wins immunity.
Joel knew he was next to go. The next day, Joel annoyed the tribe with his scrambling. At the challenge, Joel was the first knocked out followed by Sonja, B.B., Ramona, Gretchen, Sue, Stacey. That left Sean and Dirk. Sean narrowly beat Dirk. Sean chose to take Dirk on reward. Back at camp, Ramona and Gretchen were worried about their position in the tribe. They confronted Joel, Sonja, and B.B. about starting an alliance. when Sean and Dirk got back, Joel told them what had gone down at camp. Dirk, Sean, Sue, and Stacey decided to team up run the game. The next day, Joel grew confident in his position now. Ramona grew worried when she saw Joel talking to Dirk, Sean, Sue, and Stacey. Ramona starting becoming paranoid which annoyed her fellow alliance members, Sonja and B.B. Joel, Sean, Dirk, Stacey, and Sue decided that Ramona was no threat and that Gretchen was next to go. The next day, Ramona was sure Joel had turned on them. At the immunity challenge, Gretchen barely beat Stacey for immunity. Back at camp, the tribe was unsure who to vote off. Sonja and B.B. wanted Ramona off, Joel, Dirk, and Sean wanted B.B. off, and Stacey and Sue wanted Sonja off. At tribal council, Gretchen reveled the new core alliance. For the vote, Sean, Joel, and Dirk voted for B.B., Sue and Stacey voted for Sonja, Sonja and B.B. voted for Ramona, and Ramona and Gretchen voted for Joel. B.B. was the seventh person voted out and the first jury member in a 3-2-2-2 vote.


Episode 9: Outside Looking In
  • Reward Challenge: Each person will climb up a rope ladder to a platform. The will unite a zip line and ride down into the ocean, then they will dive down and open a chest. They will grab their flag out of their chest. They will swim back to the beach. Then will complete a sliding puzzle and release a knife. They'll take the knife and chop a rope bringing down a pole. They will put their flag on the pole and raise up the pole. First person to raise their pole with the flag on it wins.
  • Reward: Advantage at the next challenge.
  • Immunity Challenge: Everybody will dig for a key. First 5 to find a key move on. Then everybody will use that key to unlock a gate, then untie all the knots to get through or try to dig under the gate. First 3 to get all of their body on the other side move on. For the final leg, each person will complete a sliding puzzle revealing a riddle. First person to answer the riddle win immunity.
Stacey and Sue were mad that Sean, Dirk, and Joel hadn't sided with them. Ramona and Sonja knew they were in trouble. The next day, Joel tried to mend the alliance. At the challenge, Stacey won the challenge, and was extremely happy with the reward. Back at camp, Stacey and Sue forgave the guys. They decided that Sonja was weak, lazy, and didn't deserve to be there. Gretchen and Ramona knew that their days were numbered. The next day, Ramona decided to make a move. She asked Stacey, Sue, and Sonja to team up with herself and Gretchen, and they accepted. The guys remained clueless to this new alliance. The next day, Stacey's advantage was to skip the first round. Gretchen, Sonja, Stacey, Dirk, and Joel moved on first. Then Sonja, Dirk, and Joel moved on to the final round. Dirk won immunity. Back at camp, Ramona and Gretchen made a strategic move and told the guys about the alliance, but lied and told them that it was Sue's idea. The guys bought it and wanted Sue out. That put Gretchen and Ramona in the middle. They could vote off Joel with Sonja, Stacey, and Sue, or vote off Sue with Joel, Sean, and Dirk. At tribal council, Ramona said that there was a new alliance emerging. For the vote, Sean, Dirk, Joel, Gretchen, and Ramona voted for Sue, while Sue, Sonja, and Stacey voted for Joel. Sue became the eigth person voted out and the second jury member in a 5-3 vote.


Episode 10: It's My Turn Now
  • Reward Challenge: Each person will hold their breath under water. Last 3 to come up move on. For the last round, each person will dive underwater and drag a crate to shore. First person to get their crate to shore wins.
  • Reward: Car
  • Immunity Challenge: Each person will make their way across a balance beam to a platform. They will unite the buoys attached to the platform causing it to sink. they will then dive down and untie the planks on the platform. They will use the planks to completer a puzzle bridge first one across the bridge wins immunity.
Stacey and Sonja were Furious at Gretchen and Ramona fro betraying them. The next day, Stacey and Sonja knew they needed any advantage they could get from winning the reward challenge. At the challenge, Stacey, Joel, and Sean moved on to the last round, and Joel won reward. He was excited for winning a car. Back at camp, everybody was jealous of Joel's car. Sonja was still worried about her position in the tribe. She went to Sean and Dirk and said that she would help them vote out Stacey. They decided that Sonja was untrustworthy and needed to go. The next day, Gretchen decided that the alliance needed to avoid caving into Sonja's and Stacey's pleas to stay. Stacey knew that she had no chance of breaking the alliance and her only chance was to win immunity, but Sonja wouldn't stop her scrambling. This made the alliance want her off even more. The next day, Stacey was nervous about the challenge. The next day, Sonja surprised everyone and got a come from behind immunity win. Back at camp, the alliance knew that Stacey had to go. Stacey was upset but knew it was no use arguing. At tribal council, Stacey that she knew she was going home. For the vote, Dirk, Sean, Ramona, Joel, Gretchen, and Sonja voted for Stacey, while Stacey voted for Joel. Stacey became the ninth person voted out and the third jury member in a 6-1 vote.

Episode 11: Fight For My Life
  • Reward Challenge: Everybody will be asked a question about Borneo. If they get it right, they earn a point. First person to 5 wins.
  • Reward: Night on a cruise ship
  • Immunity Challenge: Classic game of limbo. Everybody takes a turn. Every round the bar lowers. If they touch the bar or if any part of their body besides their feet touch the ground, they are out. Last one standing wins immunity.
Sonja knew she was on the outside of the tribe. She knew her only chance was to win immunity. The next day, the core group of 5 was confident in their spot. At the reward challenge, Ramona won reward and chose to take Gretchen with her. Ramona was surprised with a visit from her sister while she was on board. While on reward, Ramona and Gretchen made a final 2 pact. Back at camp, Joel, Sean, and Dirk made a final 3 pact. While Sonja was resting for the immunity challenge, she heard about the final 3 pact. When Ramona and Gretchen got back from reward, they sensed some tension from the guys. The next day, Sonja told Ramona and Gretchen about the final 3 pact. She asked them to side with her in taking out Sean, who was too likable. Ramona and Gretchen didn't know if they could believe Sonja, because she would say anything to get further in the game. The next day, Sonja was prepared for the challenge. At the immunity challenge, Joel won immunity, barely beating out Sonja. Back at camp, Sonja reminded them about the final 3 pact, and that the girls should stick together. At tribal council, Sonja was still extremely doubtful about her chances of staying. For the vote, Ramona, Gretchen, Joel, Sean, and Dirk voted for Sonja, while Sonja voted for Sean. Sonja became the tenth person voted out and the fourth jury member in a 5-1 vote.

Episode 12: Time To Turn
  • Reward Challenge: A Survivor bowling game with a twist. Each person will take a coconut. and roll it down the lane. If they knock down the set number of pins or more they move on. If not they're out. Last one left wins reward.
  • Reward: Fondue Party, Cheese fondue with breads and meats, and chocolate fondue with strawberries, pound cake, and marshmallows.
  • Immunity challenge: everybody will make their way through an obstacle course blindfolded. First one to the other side wins.
Joel was feeling confident that he was going to be in the final 3. The next day, Ramona and Gretchen saw what Sonja meant about the final 3 and knew they were in a bad position. At the reward challenge, Sean won reward and chose to take Dirk with him. Back at camp, Ramona told Joel that he was out at third if he went with the guys, but if he went with the girls, he'd have a better chance of winning immunity in the final 3. Joel knew he was in a power position now. When Sean and Dirk came back from reward they were pretty sure that Ramona and Gretchen were filling Joel's head with ideas. They took him aside and told him that if they were voted off, there was no way he would get their votes. The next day, Ramona and Sonja were unsure of their abilities to get further in the game. They told Sean and Dirk that Joel was too physically threatening and needed to go. They asked those 2 to help them vote off Joel if he lost immunity. Joel and Sean were unsure if they could trust Ramona and Gretchen. the next day, Ramona and Gretchen still wanted to earn immunity so they would absolutely be safe. At the immunity challenge, Dirk won the challenge by a long shot. Back at camp, Ramona and Gretchen reminded Sean and Dirk that Joel needed to go, and Joel told them that Gretchen was a bigger threat than Ramona, who was no threat at all. At tribal council, Ramona said that at this point, no one could feel safe unless they had the immunity necklace. For the vote, Ramona, Gretchen, Sean, and Dirk voted for Joel, while Joel voted for Gretchen. Joel was the eleventh person voted out and the fifth jury member in a 4-1 vote.


Finale: It All Comes Down To This
  • Immunity Challenge: Each person will swim to a pole and dive down. They will untie a key then go back to the beach. They will unlock 1 of 3 locks on their chest and repeat until all 3 locks are unlocked. They will open the chest and untie 3 bags of puzzle pieces. They will take the bags and take them to the top of the platform t0 their puzzle board. They will untie the bags, and complete the puzzle revealing a secret phrase. First one to finish the puzzle wins immunity.
The Final 4 was completely split down the middle. Ramona and Gretchen sided together, and Sean and Dirk were together. The next day at the challenge, Gretchen narrowly beat Sean for immunity. Back at camp, Sean wanted Dirk to keep the vote a tie. Dirk had other ideas. He felt he had a better chance of winning immunity against Ramona rather than Sean. Dirk discussed with Ramona and Gretchen about voting off Sean. At tribal council, Sean said that the vote would be a deadlock. For the vote, Ramona, Gretchen, and Dirk voted for Sean, while Sean voted for Ramona. Sean was the twelfth person voted out and the sixth jury member in a 3-1 vote.
  • Immunity Challenge: Each person will have one hand on the immunity idol and both feet on a wooden pole. If their other hand touches the idol, or their feet come off the pole, they are out. Last one left wins immunity.
Dirk knew the only thing he could do to stay in was win immunity. The Final 3 were woken up early. They went to an island where all their fallen tribe mates torches stood. As they passed each torch, they would take a moment to reflect on that person's time on the island. Afterward, they would go to their final immunity challenge. Many emotions were brought up, as they were reflecting on the others time on the island. At the challenge, Ramona was the first to drop out followed by Gretchen. Dirk won the final immunity challenge. Back at camp, Dirk knew that Gretchen would be harder to beat than Ramona, but he wondered if the jury would respect his decision to take the tougher opponent to the end. At tribal council, Dirk voted for Gretchen. Gretchen became the thirteenth person voted out and the seventh member of the jury with Dirk's vote. Back at camp, Ramona had mixed emotions. She was excited to be in the Final 2, but upset that her closest friend had been voted out. Ramona and Dirk spent the rest of the day reflecting on their time on the island. Before they left for tribal council, Ramona and Dirk burned their camp. At tribal council Ramona said that she had been put in the outs of her tribe on day 1 and had to work extra hard to stay in every time. Dirk said he played a strong and strategic game. Sean asked Ramona how she grew, and he asked Dirk why Dirk voted him out. B.B. asked both of them who deserved to be sitting next to them most. Sonja asked both why the person sitting next to them didn't deserve to win. Joel asked Ramona ho her closest ally was, and he asked Dirk what the point of betraying him was. Susan asked Ramona why she betrayed Sue, and asked nothing of Dirk. Stacey asked nothing of Ramona, and told Dirk that he played a great game and was the most deserving person. Gretchen told Ramona that she had always been a true friend, and asked Dirk why he voted her out. Sean, Joel, B.B., and Gretchen voted for Ramona, while Stacey, Sonja, and Sue voted for Dirk. Ramona became the winner of Survivor Borneo in a 4-3 vote.
