Episode Summary:

Episode 1: So Close, But No
  • Individual Immunity Challenge: The players had to race across the ocean to a shoreline, where they would hunt for bags. In each bag would be a buff, either yellow or pink. In two bags, one of each color buff, there would be a hidden immunity idol. Whatever buff the person got that's the tribe they'd be on.
  • Reward/Immunity Challenge: The tribes are to assemble four puzzle wheels, attach them to a cart, and push the cart through a series of wooden fences. Upon reaching a sandpit with the cart, they then must dig up a set of planks to make a bridge. The tribes then push the cart over the bridge to a turnstile. The wheels are then removed and the pieces reassembled to complete the turnstile. The turnstile raises a fire wok on a pulley that lights the top of a platform.
  • Reward: Tribal Immunity and flint
When the castaways stepped on the beach, Jeff told them that they were all runner-ups. They had come so close to winning their season, but lost. He told them about their first challenge, and everybody was excited about the idols. He told them they could go whenever they wanted to. Ozzy was the first off, quickly followed by everyone else. Soon, everyone had a bag. Jeff told them to open their bags in private. Everybody went off into the woods. Danielle got the idol for the yellow tribe, Xiosa. Clay got the idol for the pink tribe, Yalum. Everybody came back out to find their tribes. Yalum consisted of Clay, Neleh, Colby, Stephen, Cassandra, Russell, Stephenie, Lillian, Susie, and Kelly. Xiosa consisted of Danielle, Matthew, Katie, Kim, Amanda, Ozzy, Rob, Parvati, Twila, and Courtney. They were then given a pot, machete, and a map to their camp. Then, they went to their camps. At Yalum, Stephenie and Kelly grew close, they decided to make an alliance and pull in Neleh. Neleh agreed to the alliance. Lillian, Susie, and Cassandra formed an older women alliance. Soon the tribe started on their shelter and gathering food. At Xiosa, Danielle wanted to connect with Parvati, Parvati wanted to connect with Amanda, and Amanda wanted to connect with Courtney. Amanda, Danielle, Parvati, and Courtney formed an alliance. Because they had a tight alliance in season 20, Danielle showed Parvati her idol. The two of them vowed to be the Final 2. The tribe worked on their shelter, and got it done quickly. The next day, Russell spied on Clay as he left camp. he saw Clay hide the Hidden Immunity Idol. He tried to warn the rest of the tribe, but most of the people didn't believe him, because they had seen his other seasons. Stephen was the only one who believed Russell. At Xiosa, Twila became wary of Parvati. Twila knew Parvati could manipulate the men with her looks. Twila told Kim that Parvati needed to go, and Kim agreed. They tried to sway the men to their side. Ozzy wanted to get back at Parv, and Matt was willing to go with anyone. Rob wasn't sold though. He and Katie made an alliance. They knew they were the swing vote. They could go with Danielle, Parv, Amanda, and Courtney or Kim, Twila, Ozzy, and Matt. The next day, the tribes were ready for their first challenge. At the challenge, Xiosa easily beat Yalum, when Cassandra weighed down Yalum. Back at Yalum, Russell, Clay, and Cassandra were on the chopping block. Clay wanted Russell gone, Cassandra was the weakest link, and Russell knew Clay had the idol. At tribal council, Colby said there was no certainty on who's going home. For the vote, Susie, Cassandra, Lill, Russell, and Stephen voted for Clay; Kelly, Stephenie, Neleh, and Colby voted for Cassandra; Clay voted for Russell. Clay didn't play his idol and became the first person voted out in a 5-4-1 vote. As Yalum left, Jeff gave them flint.

Episode 2: I Might Be a Virus, But There's No Cure For Me
  • Reward Challenge: One at a time, the Survivors must sprint up a ramp, over a net run to a giant rope web, where they must climb underneath it and gather hanging bags. After untying a bag, they must drop into the water and race with their bag back to the start, where the next person would be waiting to leave. Each tribe member must attempt to get a bag once.
  • Reward: Fishing supplies
  • Immunity Challenge: Tribes were to be tethered to ropes in a pit of mud. The first tribe to drag the other to their side of the mud pit and grab a flag would win that round. The first tribe with three flags would win Immunity. Should in fifteen minutes, no tribe had reached a flag, the challenge will be modified in one-on-one match-ups.
Back at Yalum, Colby told the tribe that they had made the wrong decision to keep Cassandra and vote off Clay. The ones who voted for Clay didn't care though. At Xiosa, the tribe talked about who they thought was voted off, and most of them agreed that it was Cassandra. The next day, both tribes were pumped for their first reward challenge. At the challenge, Xiosa was surprised to see Clay gone. For the challenge, Cassandra completely blew it, and Xiosa won reward. Back at Yalum, the tribe was regretting keeping Cassandra around. Cassandra was worried about her place in the tribe, but Lill and Susie told her that they would do everything to keep her in. At Xiosa, Twila tried harder to get rid of Parvati. She told the entire tribe that Parv was a virus. When Danielle told Parvati, Parvati was mad. Parvati went up to Twila and told her that there was no cure for her, and she would take Twila down. Xiosa was completely divided. Parvati, Danielle, Amanda, and Courtney were on one side, Twila, Kim, Ozzy, and Matt were on the other, and Katie and Rob were in the middle. The next day, the fighting between Parv and Twila got worse. The tribe knew one of the had to go, but neither side wanted to give their member up. At Yalum, Susie tried to convince Russell to help them vote out Colby next. Russell agreed, and said he would pull in Steven. When Russell told Steven, Steven wasn't sure. He told Russell if they kept Cassandra over Colby, the tribe would lose most of the challenges. Russell told him that they needed a stronger alliance, and not a stronger tribe. The next day, Cassandra knew her challenge performance could seal her fate. At the challenge, Cassandra again proved too weak and Xiosa won their 3rd straight challenge. At Yalum, Stephen was ready to vote out Cassandra after her terrible challenge performances. Russell told Stephen that Colby had to go. At tribal council, Colby said the vote was obvious. For the vote, Stephen, Colby, Kelly, Neleh, and Stephenie voted for Cassandra, while Russell, Lill, Susie, and Cassandra voted for Colby. Cassandra became the second person voted out in a 5-4 vote.

Episode 3: Peace To Come
  • Reward Challenge: Members from each tribe would race into the water to retrieve a safety ring. The first tribe member to fight off the opposition and swim the ring to their designated buoy would get a point. The battles would be one-on-one as well as two-on-two. The first tribe to score three wins.
    • Reward: A Sewing kit
  • Immunity Challenge: The tribes would partake in a beach run, clipped to each other by a rope and carrying backpacks with 20 pounds of sandbag weight. The tribes would begin at opposite sides of an oval course. After Jeff Probst's go-signal, the tribes would race to catch up to one another. Any tribe members who fell behind could unclip from the rope and drop out of the race, but they would be forced to pass their sandbag to another player, who must carry the extra weight. The first tribe to catch up to the other tribe and tag them would gain Immunity.
At Yalum, Russell was outraged that Stephen betrayed him. He told Stephen that no matter what, Stephen would go next. The next day, Parvati and Twila's bickering got worse. The entire tribe knew one of them needed to go. Both alliances sided with their person. That left Katie and Rob to decide. They were unsure on who should go home. At the reward challenge, Yalum won their first challenge. At Yalum, spirits were high. There was laughing from everybody except Russell. Russell was off by himself trying to come up with a plan to vote off Stephen. The tribe knew that Russell caused too much drama, and wasn't very social. They made a plan to vote off Russell next tribal council. At Xiosa, Parvati blamed Twila for their loss, but Twila said it was the whole tribe that was responsible. Katie and Rob were equally annoyed at both people. The next day, the tribes found out they were having an immunity challenge. Yalum was ready to win. At the immunity challenge, Xiosa easily won immunity. At Yalum, Russell tried to convince everyone that Steven would end up betraying them. The tribe didn't listen and they all agreed that Russell needed to go, because he was the one who caused the most drama and was too untrustworthy. At tribal council, Susie said the decision was very easy to make. For the vote, Susie, Lill, Colby, Neleh, Stephen, Stephenie, and Kelly voted for Russell, while Russell voted for Stephen. Russell became the third person voted out in a 7-1 vote.

Episode 4: Let's Make A Deal
  • Reward Challenge: Using a giant slingshot, three tribe members will be the launchers, while the other four will stand on a balance beam over the water. One tribe member will launch a ball to the other four, who must catch it before it hits the water. The first tribe to catch five balls wins the Reward.
  • Reward: Kerosene lantern, water canisters, blankets, pillows, rope and a tarp
  • Immunity Challenge: Each team will compete in varying match-ups, racing head to head to five circles in the sand. Buried within each circle is a bag. The tribes must dig and find the bag, and then get back to the finish mat. To score, there must be at least one hand on the bag while any part of the body touches the finish mat. First tribe to score three wins Immunity
After the vote, Lill and Susie knew they were next on the chopping block. The next day, they decided to make a move. They went to the powerhouse alliance of Kelly, Steph, Neleh, and Colby in an effort to save themselves. They revealed to them that Stephen had been close allies with Russell, and that Stephen could just as easily flip on them. This made the alliance wary of Stephen's loyalty. At Xiosa, Katie's and Rob's decision was still wavering. There would be pros and cons with each side. At the reward challenge, Xiosa won reward. Back at Xiosa, spirits were high. They were happy and everything was going well. At Yalum, things were not as bright. The tribe was tired of losing and needed a pick up. The next day, after a fight with Parvati, Twila cut the blanket with the machete and threw it into the fire. When the rest of the tribe found out, everybody blamed Matt. They knew this was the type of crazy thing he would do. Matt denied it, knowing it wasn't him who had done it. Parvati was almost certain that it was Twila trying to get revenge, but the tribe didn't believe her. At Yalum, Colby tried to lift up the tribe's spirits, but it wasn't going very well. The next day, Xiosa was confident about the challenge. At the immunity challenge, Yalum surprisingly won immunity. They celebrated and now had high hopes. At Xiosa, everybody was worried about their first tribal council. Rob and Katie knew the time to make a decision had come, but they knew who they would go with. Matt finally convinced hiss alliance that he had not done it. Twila then suggested that Parvati did it out of spite. The alliance agreed on voting for Parvati. They approached Katie and rob about the decision. Katie and Rob had other ideas though. Katie approached Danielle and struck a deal. Katie and Rob would join forces with Danielle, Parvati, Courtney, and Amanda, if they agreed to vote off Matthew. Danielle excitedly agreed. She ran and told her alliance. Though Parvati still wanted Twila gone, everybody agreed. At Tribal Council, Kim said that this tribal council would decide the direction of the tribe. For the vote, Katie, Rob, Danielle, Amanda, Parvati, and Courtney voted for Matthew; Kim, Matthew, Ozzy, and Twila voted for Parvati. Matthew became the fourth person voted out in a 6-4 vote.

Episode 5: We Need To Win
  • Reward Challenge: The Survivors will square off, one on one, on a platform. Using large padded bags they will battle sumo style, knocking the other tribe member off the platform to score a point for their tribe. The first tribe to score seven points wins Reward.
  • Reward: Two items chosen from a catalog by each tribe.
  • Immunity Challenge: Scattered in a field are 30 boards. Each board has a number or a word painted on it. One tribe at a time will send a member out to reveal two boards. If the numbers or words on the boards match, they’ll score a point for their tribe. The first tribe to seven points wins Immunity. To make things more difficult, there are 4 dummy boards on the course without a match.
Twila, Kim, and Ozzy were worried now that Matt was gone. The other alliance had gained power, and they needed a miracle to stay in the game. The next day, Yalum had high morale around camp after their win at the immunity challenge, and they were ready to win again. At the Reward Challenge, Yalum narrowly beat Xiosa when Stephenie beat Danielle in the final face-off. Yalum picked a bag of potatoes and spices for their reward. At their camp, Yalum was excited and spirits were high. At Xiosa, the tribe didn't want to lose again. Danielle was down, because she believed it was her fault they lost the challenge. Parvati tried to console Danielle, by telling her that they would destroy Yalu at the immunity challenge. Parvati eventually got Danielle back to doing work and a little happier. The next day, Ozzy tried to make a deal with Rob. He told Rob that Parvati was a fierce competitor and she couldn't be trusted. Rob knew Ozzy was right, and he would have a better shot at getting farther with Ozzy, Twila, and Kim, than Parvati and her alliance. Though Rob was unsure about betraying Parvati and the other girls. Rob told Katie about Ozzy's offer, and she was unsure too. At Yalum, Lillian and Susie knew they were on the outs. They approached Neleh, Stephenie, and Kelly about a female alliance. They declined, because they knew the alliance was made out of desperation and they trusted Colby more. The next day, Danielle was determined to redeem herself at the challenge. At the immunity challenge, Kim's memory lead Xiosa to the win. At Xiosa, everybody was happy about the win, but Danielle was upset that she hadn't done as well as Kim, who was much older. At Yalum, it was obvious that either Susie or Lill was going home. The tribe didn't know who to send home. Lillian would be better physically, but Susie was better mentally. Colby knew the tribe needed more mental strength, but Steph thought the tribe could use the physical strength. At tribal council, Colby said this tribe needed strength. For the vote, Colby, Stephenie, Neleh, Kelly, and Stephen voted for Lillian; Lillian and Susie voted for Stephen. Lillian became the fifth person voted out in a 5-2 vote.

Episode 6: I Can't Stand You
  • Reward Challenge: - Two tribe members will squeeze into a barrel together and remain in the barrel while two other tribe members push, pull and roll the barrel through a series of obstacles in order to retrieve four buoys. Next, they must float the barrel through a final water obstacle, where they will collect four flags anchored underwater. Once the flags have been collected, the tribe must paddle back to shore, hang their flags on a flagpole, recover a buried axe and chop a rope in order to hoist their flags. The first tribe to raise their flags wins.
  • Reward: A trip to a local coffee shop with muffins, danishes and letters from home.
  • Immunity Challenge: - The five tribe members have to paddle out in glass bottom boats in search of three targets on the ocean floor. They must line up the targets with cross hairs on their glasses, drop a cannonball and release two buoys. Once all six buoys have been collected the tribe must paddle back to shore. Reading a clue from one of the buoys, the tribe must use all six buoys to spell out the answer. First tribe assemble the mystery word wins Immunity.
Susie knew she was on her last leg in the game. All her allies were gone, and she was by herself. On Day 15, Stephen became increasingly sick. He was having trouble moving. When both tribes arrived at the reward challenge, Stephen announced that he didn't have the energy to continue on in the game, and he was too sick. Jeff asked him if he was sure, Stephen said he was. Stephen was taken away on a boat. That left Yalum with 5, against Xiosa with 9. For the challenge, Courtney, Katie, Ozzy, and Rob won reward for Xiosa, by defeating Neleh, Steph, Colby, and Kelly. On reward, the castaways were surprised with letter from home. At Yalum, everybody's spirits were down. They had 4 less people than Xiosa, and they had only won 3 challenges. Susie was especially upset, because she was alone in the game. The next day, Xiosa was happy and united after their reward, but Yalum was sad and divided. At Yalum, the tribe decided that Susie wasn't strong enough for the tribe. At Xiosa, Parvati wanted to target Twila, but Courtney said that Kim was the weaker member of the tribe. The next day, Yalum was desperate to win immunity. At the immunity challenge, Yalum surprisingly won immunity. At Xiosa, Twila and Kim were on the chopping block. Twila tried to use the split in the alliance to her advantage. She asked Courtney and Amanda to help her, Kim, and Ozzy vote Parvati. Courtney and Amanda decided this made Twila too threatening to keep around. They told Parvati, Danielle, Rob, and Katie that Twila was the target. Everybody agreed. At tribal council, Twila said this game could turn at any moment. For the vote, Courtney, Amanda, Parvati, Danielle, Rob, and Katie voted for Twila; Twila, Kim, and Ozzy voted for Parvati. Twila became the sixth person voted out in a 6-3 vote.

Episode 7: All On My Shoulders
  • Reward/Individual Immunity Challenge: The tribes would compete separately for individual immunity. The castaways would be attached to a rope threaded through obstacles which they would have to climb under, over, or around. The first Hero and the first Villain to win will be immune from the vote. Then the two winners will be competing in the final round. The final round's challenge would be the same, but with a single obstacle three levels high. The first castaway to complete the obstacle would win reward for their tribe.
  • Reward: Hot dogs and soft drinks to be enjoyed at camp.
Kim and Ozzy were now by themselves, they were against Parvati, Katie, Rob, Amanda, Courtney, and Danielle. Parvati wanted the alliance to take Ozzy out next, because she knew she couldn't get his jury vote no matter what, so she wanted him to go before the jury started. At Yalum, Susie was worried about what she could do. She tried to convince Steph, Kelly, and Neleh to vote out Colby. The girls immediately disagreed. The knew Susie would flip to save herself for a few more weeks. At Xiosa, Kim and Ozzy tried to get Katie and Rob to tie a vote against Parvati. Rob and Katie didn't want to do it, because at the merge, the remnants of the alliance would flip to the other side and vote out Rob and Katie. The next day, the tribes were surprised with tree mail. They arrived at the challenge to be surprised by the news. Both tribes would be going to tribal council the next day. Jeff told the tribes that 2 winners of the individual challenge, would fight to win reward fo their tribe. And the person voted out of the winning tribe would join the jury, but the person voted out of the losing tribe would not. Ozzy and Stephenie won individual immunity. Ozzy ended up winning reward for his tribe. At Xiosa, the tribe celebrated with the food that they would all at least be in the jury. At Yalum, Susie knew that she was gone, and felt even worse that she would just miss the jury. She pleaded with the girls to vote out Colby, but they wouldn't agree. The next day, both boots from each tribe seemed obvious. At Yalum's tribal council, Susie said that she was almost certain she was going. For the vote, Steph, Neleh, Kelly, and Colby voted for Susie; Susie voted for Colby. Susie became the seventh person voted out in a 4-1 vote. At Xiosa's tribal council, Parvati said that she wishes they could vote out Ozzy. For the vote, Parvati, Courtney, Danielle, Amanda, Rob, and Katie voted for Kim; Kim and Ozzy voted for Parvati. Kim became the eighth person voted out and the first jury member in a 6-2 vote.

Episode 8: They're Ruthless
  • Reward Challenge: The castaways would play a variation of Concentration with thirteen pairs of survival items plus four unpaired dummy items hidden under covers. One tribe member at a time would uncover two items. If the items matched, they would score one point for their tribe. However, the tribe leaders would have the option of forfeiting the point and taking the uncovered pair. The tribe with the most points at the end of the challenge would win.
  • Reward: A sailing trip aboard a three-masted barque and lunch, and the items collected for the points forfeited for either tribe.
  • Immunity Challenge: The tribes would paddle out into the ocean to retrieve six sets of fish-shaped puzzle pieces. Once back on the beach, three tribe members would have to assemble the puzzle pieces. The first tribe to assemble their puzzle would win.
Ozzy knew he was on his last leg and all he could do was win immunity. The next day, Ozzy tried to convince his tribe to vote out the physically weaker Katie, before him. At the reward challenge, Ozzy led Xiosa to the win. On reward, the tribe had a brief moment of harmony. At Yalum, the four person tribe was worried about losing immunity again. When they returned from reward, Danielle told Parvati that she was considering keeping Ozzy over Katie. Parvati said that they would merge soon, and Ozzy would most likely flip to the other side. Danielle agreed. The next day, Colby and Ozzy seemed to be the targets if either tribe lost immunity. Yalum didn't want to lose Colby though. Courtney talked about throwing the immunity challenge to vote Ozzy out of the game. Rob and Katie didn't know about the plan. Even if they merged and Ozzy flipped. It still would've been 6-4. The rest of the alliance, however, agreed to the plan. The next day, Ozzy was worried about the immunity challenge. At the immunity challenge, Xiosa threw the challenge, and Yalum won immunity. Back at Yalum, the tribe was happy and excited. The closest four were still together. At Xiosa, Ozzy figured out that they had thrown the challenge. He tried to convince Katie and Rob to somehow get Parvati, who he believed created the plan, voted out. Katie and Rob knew that it would be hard to take Ozzy to the merge over Parvati. Danielle again bought up the idea of keeping Ozzy over Katie. Amanda brought up a new point that Ozzy and Rob would flip to the other side. The alliance decided that it wouldn't be the best decision to keep Ozzy over Katie. At tribal council, Ozzy called Katie out as the weakest member of the tribe. Courtney said that strength came in all different forms, like mental strength as well. For the vote, Katie, Rob, Danielle, Amanda, Parvati, and Courtney voted for Ozzy; Ozzy voted for Parvati. Ozzy became the ninth person voted out and the second jury member in a 6-1 vote.

Episode 9: Best Side
  • Immunity Challenge: The tribe members are positioned under a metal grate as the incoming tide rises. As the tide rises, the breathing space under the grate grows smaller. The last castaway to remain under the grate would win Individual Immunity.
Xiosa was ready for the merge. They had their alliance, and the numbers. Katie and Rob, however, weren't sure if they could trust Parvati, Courtney, Amanda, and Danielle. After they threw the challenge to vote out Ozzy, they knew they were untrustworthy. The next day, the tribes merged. They decided to call themselves Gherosti. They had a small feast of cheese, crackers, and fruit. It became clear that tribal lines still ran deep. Katie and Rob discussed flipping to the other side, because they were more deserving. Katie and Neleh formed a close bond, as did Rob and Colby. Danielle caught eye of this and made a plan to blindside one of them. Danielle and Parvati told Stephenie and Kelly that Rob would be going home that night. Kelly and Stephenie told Katie and Rob what they had been told. Katie and Rob knew then, that they had to flip and vote out Parv. The next day, a new alliance of Colby, Neleh, Rob, Katie, Stephenie, and Kelly formed. They decided that Parvati would go first than Amanda, Danielle, and Courtney last. Danielle, Parvati, Amanda, and Courtney were still confident that Rob would be going home. The next day, everybody was ready for their first immunity challenge. At the challenge, Katie dropped out first. She was followed by Courtney, Neleh, Colby, Danielle, Kelly, Amanda, and Stephenie. That left Rob and Parvati. Rob dropped out first, and Parvati won immunity. Back at camp, Danielle, Amanda, Parvati, and Courtney were still confident that Rob was going home. Kelly, Rob, Colby, Katie, Stephenie, and Neleh had to choose someone else to go home. Though Amanda was going after Parvati, Kelly rvealed that Danielle was with Parvati when they were told that Rob was going. That mean Danielle might have had a hand in creating the plan. The alliance agreed that Danielle would be the best choice. Though Danielle had the hidden immunity idol, she was confident in her position and left it at camp. At tribal council, Neleh said that it was obvious that old tribal lines ran deep. For the vote, Katie, Neleh, Stephenie, Colby, Rob, and Kelly voted for Danielle; Danielle, Amanda, Parvati, and Courtney voted for Rob. Danielle became the tenth person voted out and the third jury member in a 6-4 vote.

Episode 10: Can't Be Trusted
  • Reward Challenge: The tribe would be split into two teams. One castaway from each tribe would be hoisted aloft in a cradle held up by four ropes controlled by the other team members. The castaway in the cradle would have to be maneuvered around the playing field to collect fifteen numbered flags in order and placed into a slot in a log. The first team to collect all fifteen flags would win.
    • Reward: A plane trip to a small island and a picnic lunch at a waterfall
  • Immunity Challenge: Each castaway would throw one stone at a set of three hanging tiles. For each tile broken, they would earn one spear to be used in the next round. The castaways would use a crossbow to shoot the spears they earned at a target. The castaway that shoots their spear closet to the center of the target would win.
Parvati, Amanda, and Courtney were furious at Rob and Katie for betraying them. The next day, Amanda confronted Neleh with a plan to turn on Rob. She told Neleh that Rob was a traitor and he couldn't be trusted. Neleh agreed and headed back to her alliance. She told Steph, Kelly, and Colby about what Amanda told her. They agreed that it would be a good idea to blindside Rob, but they weren't sure if it was the best plan. Kelly suggested that it might be a plot to get Rob and Katie to tun on them. At the reward challenge, Colby and Courtney were team captains. Colby's team consisted of him, Kelly, Stephenie, and Neleh. Courtney's team consisted of her, Amanda, Parvati, and Rob. Katie wasn't picked and she sat out. Colby's team won reward. They had a great time on reward and confirmed an all Yalum Final 4. Back at camp, Parvati got into a fight with Rob about him betraying his alliance. Amanda and Courtney stepped back and let Parvati dig her own grave. When the other returned from reward, Rob told them that Parvati was going home that night no matter what. The others agreed, because Parvati was too threatening. The next day, Parvati tried to throw Courtney under the bus, but that made the others trust Parvati even less. Katie told Amanda and Courtney that Parvati had thrown Courtney under the bus, but they refused to believe it. Amanda still campaigned to get Rob out, because he was a traitor and no one could trust him. The others still kept that idea in their head. The next day, Parvati was desperate for immunity, and the other wanted to keep it away from her. At the immunity challenge, Amanda got 1 spear, Parvati got 2 spears, Colby got 1 spear, Neleh got no spears, Katie got 1 spear, Courtney got no spears, Kelly got no spears, Stephenie got no spears, and Rob got 2 spears. The order of throwing went, Rob, Parvati, Amanda, Colby, Katie, Rob, and Parvati. Rob hit the target, but Parvati beat that. Amanda and Colby couldn't beat Parvati, but Katie did. Rob completely missed the target. That left immunity between Parvati and Katie. Parvati barely missed Katie's record, and Katie won immunity. Back at camp, Parvati campaigned to get Rob out, but nobody else wanted to pass up the opportunity to get Parvati out. At tribal council, Parvati said her fate was sealed. For the vote, Colby, Neleh, Stephenie, Rob, Katie, and Kelly voted for Parvati; Parvati, Amanda, and Courtney voted for rob. Parvati became the eleventh person voted out and the fourth jury member in a 6-3 vote.

Amanda and Courtney knew their chances at staying in the game were slim to none. They were the only two left of the previously dominating alliance. Amanda was almost certain that she would be viewed as a bigger threat than Courtney. The next day, the other six laughed and joked, while Courtney and Amanda were off by themselves. They were lonely and upset. They wanted a chance to stay in the game, but it seemed so unlikely. In the core alliance of six, some cracks became obvious when Colby began to insult Neleh's work ethic. Neleh began to complain about this around Courtney and Amanda. They saw this as an opportunity to flip the game. The talked to Colby, Katie, and Rob about turning on Neleh, because she had done nothing to deserve her place in the tribe. Rob and Colby were eager to do so, but Katie wasn't sure. She knew it was part of the plan to split the alliance up. At the reward challenge, Amanda, Colby, and Stephenie flew through the cage stage. Amanda quickly got though the puzzle, while Rob got through the cage and the puzzle. Amanda completed the final puzzle before Rob and went to the finish. Amanda won reward. She chose to take Courtney with her. On reward, Amanda and Courtney celebrated what would probably their first, last, and only reward between jusyt the two of them. Back at camp, Katie told Colby and Rob that Amanda got a car, and she needed to go. The guys agreed that Amanda was also a bigger threat. When Amanda and Courtney returned from the reward they sensed the discomfort that usually came when you return froma reward. They tried to ensure the plan to vote out Neleh, but the other three wouldn't give a sure answer. The next day, Amanda and Courtney still tried to ask if the plan to vote out Neleh was still alive, but no one gave a sure answer. They began to grow even more worried that one of them would go home. Amanda thought that if she won immunity, they would vote out Neleh over Courtney. The next day, the others wanted to keep immunity away from Amanda. At the immunity challenge, Amanda and Rob were neck and neck the entire challenge. Rob got his fifth feather first and barely beat Amanda for immunity. Back at camp, Amanda tried to assure her loyalty to Katie, Rob, and Colby, so they would vote out Neleh. The threesome didn't know if voting out Amanda over Neleh was a good idea. At tribal council, Amanda said you have to make big moves to stay in the game. For the vote, Katie, Rob, Colby, Neleh, Stephenie, and Kelly voted for Amanda; Amanda and courtney voted for Neleh. Amanda became the twelth person voted out and the fifth jury member in a 6-2 vote.

Episode 12: Last One Standing
  • Reward Challenge: The castaways would, in private, answer a survey about their fellow tribemates. They would then have to guess whose name came up the most from the group. Each time a castaway guessed correctly, they would be given the opportunity to chop at a rope that held a weight above a statuette that represented another castaway. After three chops of the rope, the statuette would be smashed and that castaway would be eliminated from the challenge. The last castaway whose statuette was not smashed would win reward.
  • Reward: A trip to a local lake with a large waterfall; selection of two additional castaways to share the reward
  • Immunity Challenge: The castaways would take turns shooting a rifle at colored sake bottles. The first person who breaks all three of their bottles would win.
Courtney was all alone. She had no friends, no allies, and no one to confide in. She was very nervous and upset, but she wouldn't give up. She knew the power alliance had to have cracks and she would tear them apart. The next day, more and more cracks began to appear. Colby became a tyrant around camp, he controlled who did what work. Kelly often went off by herself, and she did not interact with the others. Neleh was lazy around camp. Katie and Rob were onviously on the outs of the alliance. Stephenie had the biggest problem. She was perfect. That made Stephenie the biggest threat to win the game. Courtney needed to decide who to target, and the obvious choice was Colby. She made a plan with Neleh, Stephenie, and Kelly to vote out Colby. Neleh was all for the plan, because she was tired of Colby's attitude about her and his tyranical personality. The other two agreed that Courtney would be less threatening than Colby. At the reward challenge, Steph, Neleh, and Kelly got the first question right. They all chopped Colby first. And like that Colby was the first person out of the competition. Colby was shocked, angered, and confused. For the next question, Steph, Katie, Rob, and Courtney got it right. Steph, Katie, and Rob chopped Courtney, and Courtney was out. Courtney gave her chop to Rob. Neleh was the only one to get the next question right and she chopped Rob. Katie, Kelly, and Neleh got the next question right. Katie chopped Kelly, Kelly chopped Rob, and Rob was out. Neleh gave Katie her first chop. Steph, Kelly, and Katie got the next question right. Steph and Kelly got Katie out. Katie gave her chop to Kelly. Everybody got the next question right. Neleh chopped Kelly, and Kelly was out. Kelly and Steph chopped Neleh. Steph had three ropes and Neleh had one. Steph got the next question right, and she gave Neleh her final chop. Stephenie won reward. She chose to take Neleh and Kelly with her. Back at camp, Courtney decided to make another alliance. She fed Colby's paranoia by offering to make an alliance with him, so they could take out the girls. They could pull in Katie and Rob. Colby knew Courtney could be smarter than she led on, and if she got to the end. She would win easily. When the girls returned from the reward, the sensed a feeling of animosity coming from Colby. They knew he was becoming paranoid. The next day, Colby realized that this was an important immunity challenge. At the challenge In the first round, Colby, Katie, Rob, and Kelly hit a bottle. In the second round, Colby, Kelly, and Steph hit a bottle. In the third round, Katie, Rob, and Steph hit a bottle. Everybody had two bottles down, except for Neleh and Courtney who had none. In the final round, the first 5 people missed the shot. That left Colby and Kelly to win immunity. Colby hit the bottle. Kelly had to hit a bottle to force a tiebreaker. Kelly missed, and Colby won immunity. Back at camp, everybody was upset that Colby had won immunity. They knew Courtney had to go. Courtney didn't give up though. She tried to convince Colby, Katie, and Rob to vote out Kelly. They didn;t know what to do. At tribal council, Courtney said that the game was not going her way. For the vote, Colby, Katie, Rob, Kelly, Stephm and Neleh voted for Courtney; Courtney voted for Kelly. Courtney became the thirteenth person voted out and the sixth jury jury member in a 6-1 vote.

Episode 13: Betrayed
  • Reward Challenge: With their feet shackled together, the castaways would have to race through a maze forming the letters of the word 'Survivor' and then build a long wooden pole by tying together short wooden sticks. The pole would be used to hook a sandbag which they castaways would swing to knock over three targets. When all three targets are knocked over, a flag would be raised and the castaway would win.
  • Reward: An overnight trip to a spa. There the winner would get a meal, a bed to sleep in, a shower, and clean clothes. They can take one person with them.
  • Immunity Challenge: The castaways would brace themselves with their arms between two walls while standing barefoot on two foot pegs. Every 15 minutes, the castaways would move down to smaller foot pegs. When the castaways reached the third set of foot pegs, they would try to remain on them as long as they could. The last castaway to remain on their pegs would win.
Colby knew his alliance had tried to betray him. He knew all he could do was win immunity. The next day, Colby tried to convince Rob and Katie to align with him to vote out the powerhouse alliance of Kelly, Neleh, and Stephenie. They knew it would end in a tie whch would be bad for him. Colby also tried to patch things up with his old alliance and told them that he would vote out Rob. The girls knew if Rob got to the end, he stood a great chance of winning. They didn't know who was more threatening. At the reward challenge, Rob won reward and chose to take Katie with him. Back at camp, the girls knew Rob and Katie would stick together. They decided that it might be best to keep Colby over Rob. Then they could vote out Colby. When they told Colby, Colby was elated. He might actually have a chance to win the game. He decided to keep his other alliance option open, just in case. On reward, Katie and Rob discussed the alliance with Colby. They didn't know if it would be a good idea to tie the votes. If they didn't go with Colby though, the girls would vote them out right after Colby. It was a hard decision. The next day. Katie and Rob returned from reward. They got that awkward feeling that something was wrong. They went to Neleh to confirm that Colby was going home tomorrow. Neleh said yes, but they weren't sure if she was telling the truth. There had been a hint of hesitation in her answer. They knew that something was wrong. They went over to Colby and agreed to the alliance. Kelly had been in the woods behind them, and she overheard the plan. She ran to tell Neleh and Steph. They decided that Colby couldn't be trusted, and he had to go over Rob. Kelly went to Katie and Rob to confirm the plan. They knew she was being sincere, and they were relieved. Colby had no idea that plans had shifted. He just needed to decide which plan to go along with. He decided that going with the girls would be the best decision. The next day, Colby still had no idea about the new plan, and he felt confident about his place in the tribe. At the immunity challenge, Katie dropped out first. She was followed by Neleh, Colby, and Stephenie. It came down to Rob and Kelly. Rob dropped out, and Kelly won immunity. Back at cam p, Colby confirmed his loyalty to the girls. The girls realized that Colby might be a better person to keep, rather than Rob. At tribal council, Kelly said that loyalty was the most important thing in the game. For the vote, Kelly, Stephenie, Neleh, Rob, and Katie voted for Colby; Colby voted for Rob. Colby became the fourteenth person voted out and the seventh jury member in a 5-1 vote.

Episode 14: Immunity Is On The Line
  • Immunity Challenge: - The castaways will race around a ropes course to eight different stations, collecting a bag of puzzle pieces at each station. Each time a tribe member gets a bag he or she will have to come back to their table before they can go back out on the course. Once a tribe member has all eight bags, he or she will use the puzzle pieces to construct an eight point compass rose puzzle. Once the puzzle is assembled correctly a flag will raise. First to raise his/her flag wins Immunity.
The mood coming back from tribal council was pure joy. Katie and Rob were still together, and their biggest competition, Colby, was gone. The girls were still confident. All they had to do was take out Rob and Katie, and they would be the Final 3. The next day, Rob and Katie knew they had little chance of staying together. They promised to vote for the other, if they were at the Final Tribal Council. They knew their only chance was to convince one of the girls to flip. They tried to work on all of them, but they came to the unfortunate realization that nobody would turn on their alliance. At the immunity challenge, it became a race between Rob and Kelly. It came down to the puzzle, and Kelly won immunity. Back at camp, the girls decided that nay of them could easily beat Katie, but it would be hard to beat Rob. Katie and Rob knew one of them was going and it was pretty obvious it would be Rob. At tribal council, Katie said it was obvious who was going home. For the vote, Neleh, Stephenie, and Kelly voted for Rob; Rob and Katie voted for Stephenie. Rob became the fifteenth person voted out and the eighth jury member in a 3-2 vote.
  • Immunity Challenge: - The remaining castaways will be standing on a small steel perch situated in the water. Each perch has been individually proportioned to each tribe member's foot size, making the game as fair as possible. Every 15 minutes tribe members will remove a section of the perch, making it smaller and more difficult to stand on. The last piece of the perch will be a section that is less than half the size of a postcard. The last person left standing wins Immunity.
Katie was very disappointed that her closest ally and best friend. She wanted to avenge Rob and win the game for him. The next day, Kelly, Neleh, and Steph were confident that they had th final 3 locked up. Katie posed no threat to win immunity. Katie was really nervous about the challenge. It was her only chance to stay in the game. At the immunity challenge, none of the girls wanted to give up immunity. All 4 of them made it to the final section of the perch. Kelly was the first one to fall. Stephenie fell 15 minutes after her. That left Katie and Neleh fighting for immunity. Suddenly the girls were worried that Katie might actually win. Immunity was on the line, and it had never been so important. After a couple hours, Neleh fell off, and Katie won the most important immunity challenge. Back at camp, the girls were disappointed. One of their alliance members had to go. Katie told them that she believed Kelly would be the biggest jury threat. In and effort to keep themselves safe, Stephenie and Neleh agreed to vote Kelly out. At tribal council, Neleh said this immunity challenge was the biggest disappointment this season. For the vote, Katie, Stephenie, and Neleh voted for Kelly; Kelly voted for Stephenie. Kelly became the sixteenth person voted out and the ninth jury member in a 3-1 vote.
Katie, Stephenie, and Neleh celebrated their achievement of being the Final 3. They had their breakfast of eggs, orange juice, bagels, pancakes, and fruit. They spent most of their time reflecting and preparing for the FInal Tribal Council. At the end of the day, they burned their camp and headed off to the Final Tribal Council. At tribal council, Katie said she had the most riding aginst her the entire game, and she had to play twice as hard to stay. Stephenie said she was strong physically and mentally, and she worked hard to keep her spot. Neleh said she was the most honest and loyal player in the game. The jury got their chance to address the Final 3. Colby told Katie that she was a brilliant player, and he told Steph and Neleh that they were triators, liars, and had no busniness being in the final 3. Parvati told Katie that it was a risky move to turn on the Xiosa alliance, but it payed off. She told Neleh that she was the admirable player in the game, and she asked othing of Steph. Courtney asked each of them waht their biggest strategic move was. Kelly asked nothing of Katie, and she asked Steph and Nleh why she was the one that weas chosen to go home. Danielle asked nothing of Katie or Neleh. She asked Steph who deserved the spots next to her. Kim asked Neleh and Steph who they believed would've been in the Final 3, if the Xiosa 6 had stuck together. Ozzy asked nothing of Neleh or Steph. he asked Katie what was to gain from choosing Parv's allaince over his. Rob praised Katie for being the most strategic player in the game.
