Episode Summary

Episode 1: "Now This is Unfair"

• Immunity Challenge: One castaway would stand at the top of a tower and pour water down five gutters held by five castaways. The water would fill a barrel, which would release a net of puzzle pieces when full. The four remaining castaways would assemble the puzzle. The first tribe to assemble their puzzle would win.
• Medallion Advantage: Starting the challenge with the barrel filled one-fifth of the way.

As the 2 tribes came onto the beach, Jeff told them about the Medallion of Power, but did not tell them what it did. The castaways spread out, looking all over for it. It was Jane who found the idol. When the tribes returned to their mats, Jeff told them that these were not their tribes, and that they were being divided young against old. He organized the 2 new tribes. The younger tribes was confident about their strength, and the older tribe was confident about their survival skills and teamwork. Jeff gave each tribe a map to their camp, and they headed out. At La Flor, instead of working on shelter and fire, they started playing the game. 2 alliances quickly formed, Benry, Kelly B, Alina, and Shannon, also there was Brenda, Chase, Sash, and NaOnka. That left Purple Kelly (PK) and Fabio in the middle. Benry's alliance was more productive around camp, while Brenda's alliance sat around a talked. Fabio was annoyed with their laziness, but PK liked their laid back style. At Espada, game play was held off until their shelter was constructed. After it was finished, the tribe split quickly, between the genders. It was men against women. The men worked very hard around camp, and called the women lazy, even though the women did their fair share of work, most notably Jane, who even got fire started. That night, a terrible rainstorm brought out the true colors of many castaways in La Flor. NaOnka was rude and tried pushed other people out of the center of the shelter, so she could sleep drier. The next morning, Kelly B was very upset at Naonka about last night, after NaOnka pushed her out of the shelter, when NaOnka didn't even help build it. She confronted NaOnka, which resulted in a fight between the two. It came close to being violent before Alina and Brenda intervened. At Espada, Jimmy J proclaimed himself leader of the tribe, which annoyed Jill and Holly. They confronted him, but he lashed out against them calling them lazy. The next day, the tribes received their first treemail for their immunity challenge. La Flor was confident that they would dominate. At the immunity challenge, Espada decided not to use the Medallion. La Flor gained an early lead filling up the barrels, but they struggled on the puzzle. Wendy Jo, Yve, Holly, and Dan constructed the puzzle quickly and won immunity for Espada. Back at La Flor, Fabio and PK were put on the spot, forced to choose sides. But Brenda had other ideas, she asked the other alliance to vote out PK, who was the weakest member of their tribe. Alina decided to use this to her advantage. She told PK and Fabio of Brenda's plan. Both were outraged. PK was ready to vote out Brenda right then, but Kelly B wanted them to vote out NaOnka. At tribal council, Kelly B called out NaOnka as the source of all the problems. NaOnka said it was Kelly B. Kelly B told Jeff that NaOnka never worked, failed at the challenge, was rude, greedy, and selfish. To which NaOnka replied with an evil stare. For the vote, Alina, Benry, Fabio, Kelly B, Purple Kelly, and Shannon voted for NaOnka; while Brenda, NaOnka, Chase, and Sash voted for Purple Kelly. NaOnka was the first person voted out of Survivor Nicaragua in a 6-4 vote.
