"yes."Be nice to agree with you all...but...in the game she continued pleading her case that the rest of the players would be getting other deals but she wouldn't...so I believe it was by design..hoping for the show to do as they did ..hence the $50,000..but it got away from her and not only embarrassed herself but the school district too...as it turned out they tried to help her...sorry but the old saying .. 'oh what a web we weave when once we try to deceive' came to roost...she paid the ultimate price..I had been rooting for her all the way too. Do you find this valuable? |

My take when it happened on the Live Reunion was that Denise MIGHT have clarified about getting the night job as janitor with more pay - but still not much pay, and night shift is NASTY for reasons she stated about seeing her family, their sports, eating with them - which she couldn't do on the night job (when she applied to Survivor, she was still a lunch lady) but that the school wouldn't give her another job as lunch lady -- but it was too long and complicated to explain on the live show. Ever notice how Jeff keeps their comments pretty short? Other survivor contestants have set a precedent of not giving details about their jobs - I think when Denise heard the offer from CBS, she was off guard and flustered. And I think that her supervisor needs to take some classes in surpervising! She could have given Denise her lunchroom job back - she was just a control-freak who resents, as far as I can tell, just about everything. Still steams me up!

Spicy - I'm with you on the Denise scandal. I think she complained quite a bit throughout the game about having "nothing to go back to - this is it for me" and I'm sorry but the school did NOT fire her - they switched her to a different department. On the reunion show she said she was jobless and looking for work as a lunch lady. There is just no way around that lie. She lied more than once.
