I would take anything you hear from the history channel with a grain of salt. Keep in mind they don't have anybody that actually checks their facts, and their primary goal is to get viewers, not accurately report history. When that happens, you get shows about how the Nazis were actually Aliens trying to overthrow humans...

they whip out the good book to do a prayer session at inappropriate times, i.e. your sitting in the quad between classes trying to cram because your next class is having a test that you couldn't study for the night before due to whatever.... but instead of offering to help you cram its "hey lets read the bible and pray on it" as the solution! um ok that will help you how? You'll suddenly remember all the correct answers or it will it make the teacher blind to the ones you got wrong? Either way it's a fantasy and not logical therefore inappropriate and selfish because they just wasted your time & caused you to focus on something completely different (unless your next class is bible study!)
People raised the way Matt was are never taught to socialize with non-christians or accept reality. They live in a bubble of religious preaching that does nothing more than breed intolerance and judgement of other lifestyles. They only talk about faith, or preach scriptures to others. They're trained to be the church's disciples. Matt's indoctrination appears to have total control too. He doesn't see that he comes off as arrogant or self righteous to others when he talks. He doesn't see that he sounds crazy when he claims to be god's vessel, doing whatever "his god" wants. It isn't his fault and this is why it makes me mad because he's just an innocent kid that's been under the control of his church peers. He never had a choice. Hopefully in time as he grows older he will, like you said mature & calm his need to constantly bring up his faith. He will have to because nobody wants to hear their doctor tell them, "lets pray but if It's god's will that you have this disease.... there's nothing I can do..." That's not the kind of faith you want to instill in your patients!

Merge! Redemption Island castaway returns! Redemption Island begins again! Whoa... lots going on! Hopefully Phillip and his saggy pink undies get castaway for good! Or Dave flips and gives Ometepe more 3's (as long as Phillip keeps his mouth shut). However, if Matt and Phillip both flip sides, it won't do Zapatera any good! ;)

"I was rooting for Rob until this past episode. His own paranoia will bite him in the a$. He totally misread what Matt was telling him. I hope Matt takes it all. I swear, if they don't get rid Of Phil soon, I'm going to check myself into the hospital. He is an expert on everything. If he is so darn smart, why doesn't he run for president? He opens his mouth and I cringe. I hate seeing the stinky pinkies. GIVE ME A BREAK! " ROFL @ "stinky pinkies!" Too funny - though we can laugh, I feel sorry for those around him .. I'd be fearful of looking his way for fear of what might be seen as those pinkies do seem to getting more loose with each passing day ... ewwwwww.. Run for president? Of what? The Mickey Mouse Club? ;-D He might qualify for that but I'm not even sure about this.... better to allow him to become vice president and then allow him to be promoted into the president. He'll appreciate the position more if it's earned, won't he? Well, okay, I WILL appreciate him in the position more if he has to earn it ...

Goofy Ralph is amazing, The guy's in his 40's, he runs a farm business, he can't spell or speak english and he doesn't know what "cohesive" means. He owns a business?
Rob won't win. He's too big of a target, but he's not a bad guy and I think he has some integrity. You have to lie in this game but Rob does it with a good deal of charm - I do agree that he's got it easy at his tribe - there are the 2 groupies, there's crazy Stinky Pinky, (stolen from GM!) there was Kristina and Francesca who should be aptly named the blunder sisters. They're the perfect example of long time fans who are STILL clueless on how to play. Kristina came out of the gate too agressive, too abrasive to everyone except Fran, she copped an attitude because she thought she was smarter than her tribe...then proceeds to make stupid decisions & poor strategy. Grant is smart - alligning with Rob - I think he'll go far and give Rob a run for his money on the II challenges.

The grandmother wanted to keep her a long time ago but the daughter wouldn't have it. This whole tragedy stems from Casey's relationship with her mother. She hates her parents - hasn't spoken to them since she was incarcerated 2 yrs ago. Granted they were not the best parents but at least they are not EVIL like her. I've never seen such lack of feeling from a mother....blows me away

Or I could drink a pint of my bar-b-q sauce. I put Jack Daniels in that. JUST SHOOT ME NOW!" I really can't see Matt crying, either. Considering Russell almost cried after being voted out, and after getting snubbed on jury votes, I wouldn't be surprised for him to cry after losing this.

The moment we've been waiting for since Nicaragua ended... the premiere of Redemption island. Who will be voted out first? *cough* Russell *cough cough* Who will win immunity? I was surprised that both russel and rob seemed to become head of a strong alliance in first ep. I think rob is in good shape for going t merge with no problem, if they can win some challenges . I also think it is odd that rob and russel both got on the team that wanted them the most. had it been reversed they would both be in trouble. since teams were pre picked I think rob fans were all put on one team, and then since only one russel fan LOL she was on the other team. then the rob picking a color was fixed so they go to the right team. russel however got most of the men so his team may win alot so making him safer. he has one ally , so now if he found idol he would be in good shape too.
